Sailor male briefs - shorts discontinued by Charm Wear - review by OH&W, Lovebears

Long ago I used to only wear white underwear. Nothing sexy, just functional. Slit in the middle for ease of urination. Tight elastic bands and mostly cotton material. Later got into colored briefs, tight form fitting and some exotic. Baggie ones and boxers never appealed to me. I perform manual labor and don't enjoy my stuff bouncing around. Also didn't like the cold draft blowing on my stuff.

As time went by, I definitely preferred the more comfortable, soft, nice hugging feeling more and more. Got used to my undies caressing my body. When I saw these, I snatched them up. These will be my first multi-colored and themed underwear. Wife, of course, has tons of soft sexy stuff. So why not one for me!

When they came, I was not disappointed. They were very soft and comfortable. When I first put them on, they felt a little snug. They seemed to be a little tight around my thighs. The waist was fine though. After the second day, they fit perfectly! Guess they needed a little breaking into. Wife said she washes her new stuff first. Maybe I should have done that.


When first unpacked the waistband and leg openings were taunting. After wearing few days, these fit me perfectly.

Eden currently only has these in size medium which translates into waist size 26-30. I'm a 30-32. I think that since they are made in China and marketed towards the average male there, this is the most popular size.

The material is not thin. You can't see through them. The waistband is spandex and rest undies cotton. They are very very soft and comfortable. The leg openings are somewhat stretchable. Maybe a little spandex inside the cuffs.

On the flip side of the sizing tag there are cleaning instructions.
Wash in warm water. Hang dry. No bleach. Warm iron ok.

As I mentioned, they were snug on the first wear. After few days fit perfectly. After the first wash, the colors did not fade. I suppose if I wanted them to look brand new I could iron them. I also checked for loose threads, and any stitchings coming underdone. There were none. This is a very well made product. Also, my lovely wife pointed out to me all the seams are double stitched.

My wife commented they look like swimming trunks. I guess I could wear them on the beach too. They aren't waterproof though.

There is not a pouch for your junk either. So it will be form fitting; which is good if you're the type that likes to advertise.
