Cal Exotics makes this Reversible Masturbator to give us masturbating men a choice as to whether we want it smooth or rough. That's not a bad choice to have when it comes to a masturbation sleeve. Sort of gives you two sleeves in one. This sleeve is completely open at both ends although one end does taper just slightly which makes it different from the other end. Since there are no moving parts or batteries, you can use it just about any where, on the bed, in the shower, underwater, where ever.
I definitely found the Reversible Masturbator to be tight. One of the tightest sleeves I have experienced. Given how tight it was and that it wasn't overly bulky, I thought it might have a potential off label use as a girth enhancer. My partner and I were successfully able to use it this way, but it might not work for everyone. It certainly adds quite a bit of girth and my partner ended up enjoying it very much.

The Reversible Masturbator is made out of TPE which is a stretchy material. This stretchiness is what makes the sleeve usable as it would be too small at its unstretched size. The thickness of the material provides considerable resistance however, so even with its stretch it is still very tight. TPE can be a good choice for masturbation sleeves because although it is porous, it is not as porous as some of the more realistic materials like Fleshlight's Superskin.
One side of the Reversible Masturbator is smooth while the other side has soft spikes. This allows the user to choose between either of the two textures by just reversing the sleeve. This is a nice feature as sometimes you might want a smooth experience and other times you want it a little more rough. The spikes are not painful at all as they glide up and down the shaft.

At 5" long and 1 1/2" in diameter, the Reversible Masurbator is diminutive. It does stretch, but it remains very tight throughout use. More well endowed guys may find it too uncomfortable to get much pleasure from it. It is open ended, so you don't have to worry about it stretching in that direction and the sleeve sliding on and off the tip can be pleasurable. The design is not realistic at all. The opening is not made to look like a vagina, an ass, or a mouth. It might be a little tighter with the spiky side in, but I still think it feels better that way.

As far as materials for masturbation sleeves are concerned, the TPE of the Reversible Masturbator is a decent choice from a care and maintenance perspective. Although it is porous, sleeves that are not porous are very rare, so there isn't much choice there. Although it doesn't feel as realistic as some of the "skin like" materials it also doesn't come with all the maintenance baggage that those tend to have. It can be cleaned with soap and water and it is compatible with silicone lube which does not apply to most of the more realistic materials. This means it is easier to use in wet environments where the silicone lube's water resistance is of real value. Since it is open ended and reversible, it is easy to clean both sides of the sleeve and it dries quickly. Since it is porous, it should not be shared unless condoms are used by both parties or they are fluid bonded.

The Reversible Masturbator is packaged in a plastic hanging sleeve with a cardboard insert. The masturbator is completely visible through the plastic, but since it is not life like and since there are no picture of naked people on the insert, I would say that the packaging is discreet. The back of the insert has product information on it and it says that the product is endorsed by Dr. Joel Kaplan on both sides. This leads me to believe that Dr. Kaplan either has a very small penis or he likes a very tight masturbation experience, but since I don't know the man, I will not attempt to cast aspersions.

The first time I used the Reversible Masturbator it was for its designed purpose. I got myself pretty aroused to enable me to use the sleeve. During this process I was already well lubed. I started out with the smooth side inside and the spiky side outside. The spikes made holding the sleeve easy. It was certainly tight and I applied more lube to simplify the process. I worked with it for a while but wasn't all that impressed with the sensation. It is not lifelike at all and the feeling it did provide wasn't all that good. Then I flipped the sleeve inside out so I had the spikes on the inside. I wiped down the smooth side so that I could control it better. The spikes provided a better sensation but it still wasn't all that great.
The next time I used the sleeve was with my partner and I told her I wanted to try it as a girth enhancer. She agreed to give it a shot, so after some foreplay I was hard and she was ready to give it a shot. I didn't lube up before putting it on with the smooth side out because she thought that would be more comfortable. It stayed in place better than I thought it would and although she enjoyed the increased girth, it wasn't all that great. She allowed me to reverse the sleeve, so I took it off and wiped the smooth side down so that it wouldn't slip around on me too much and put it back on. She enjoyed the spiky texture much more and was coming in no time. It's use as a girt enhancer kept the Reversible Masturbator from being a complete waste of time. For me it felt like a really thick condom so there wasn't a lot of sensation which is pretty common with a girth enhancer. Since it is open ended, there was a little sensation on the tip, and a longer guy would be able to have even more sensation there, but the shaft is covered so the sensation there is next to nothing.
