Fun idea, poor execution.

As I did not yet own the ePlay base unit I ordered both at the same time. They arrived in a shipping envelope and the ePlay base unit box was torn in places. The Hard Attachment was packed only in a clear plastic sleeve that did not show any signs of damage.

My first impression of the Hard Play attachment was that it looked very intimidating and other worldly. I don't tend to toys that are all black so it definitely stands out in my collection. The shape is, mostly, anatomically correct as it resembles a penis with testicles but there are some very intriguing additions. The "penis" looks like something out of a hentai with small, alien looking, tendrils and bulging veins. The "testicles" look like something out of science fiction. They are very detached from the shaft and the electrodes give them the look of some kind of experiment. I must say my partner and I were fascinated and excited about the possibilities.

I was very pleased that the material felt normal to the touch and that there was no, notiecable, smell that can come from lesser quality toys.

After a thorough cleaning, with a water based cleaner, and fresh batteries it was time to give this a shot. Our initial plan was for me to put it on while erect and to play with the electrodes before attempting any kind of insertion. Unfortunately we started running into problems almost immediately. The material of this product does not stretch much which means if you don't fit it exactly you aren't going to get the full experience.

The total depth of the sleeve is 5.2 inches. I'm slightly longer so when I was completely inside there was a gap between the ring and the rest of my body. This wouldn't necessarily be a problem with other toys but the only electrodes are at the bottom of the rubber testicles. That part was no longer close enough for me to put my actual testicles inside.





Not the end of the world. We then attempted to try and just use the electric portion while I was not fully erect. That's where we ran into the second problem. In their attempts to make this toy appear anatomical they made the testicle portion hard to get into. The entire opening for both penis and balls is less than 2 inches. I made a few attempts to stretch things open but, once again, the toy isn't particularly stretchy so I was risking the thing snapping my balls. After a couple attempts I realized I wasn't going to be able to force this in and the mood had passed so I gave up. I never got to experience the electrodes in the intended way.

Since the primary function wasn't really an option we decided to try this inside of my partner using fingers or another toy to add stiffness. I was pleased that she reported no irritation, burning sensations or pain from the soft tendrils on top. This leads me to believe this toy was made with good materials and not the kind of thing you might find on some "novelty only" toys. The ridges and veins provided some interesting stimulation.

The ePlay electrodes do provide a nice pulsing on the contact pads but this does not translate to any of the rest of the attachment. Basically this became a vein covered dildo with extra steps. But if you like feeling electricity on your fingers then it might be worth it.

I would also recommend storing this in a Ziploc or other type of sealable bag. The shaft portion is very smooth but the testicle part has a less smooth texture and attracts dust easily, even after being recently cleaned. This could be a result of all of the stretching we tried on that part.

This toy does not vibrate. There is a mild electrical current through the contact pads when used with the ePlay base unit but this does not translate to any other part of the toy.

My partners orgasm with penetration was fine but not any more intense than with any other silicon insertables.

I did not orgasm while wearing it but I have used masturbation sleeves before and I imagine it would be a similar experience. It does feel nice around you but there are other toys I would use for that experience.
