Devinn succulent blossom - masturbator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by grif

Having already used a Fleshlight I didn't really have high expectations for this toy, but I wanted something a bit more compact. Unfortunately, That compact size was its downfall.

On paper, the Devinn Succulent Blossom is a good idea. The jelly material is very soft and the ribbed texture is pleasurable. The size fits in the hand well and makes for a tight fit. This toy is pretty good for solo or couple foreplay. Obviously you need to apply lube first. It gets things going before the big show, so to speak. In practice though, it's too small, for me at least. First off, at full thrust, my head sticks out the end. Secondly, I no longer own this toy as it's somewhere in a landfill split in half after only maybe a dozen uses. I guess this would be good for men with not so much girth, but not for me. Pretty much a total let down.

As noted, the jelly material is soft and pleasurable. There is no notable odor and I would imagine it has no taste although I never tasted it. The ribbed inside feels very good and certainly got me off with gusto. Unfortunately, it is too soft for long term use, I wouldn't call myself overly large but definitely too big for this toy, as it is now split in half and tossed in the trash. I honestly wouldn't recommend it for beginner's or advanced users because it just doesn't hold up.

One other note, the outside of this toy is pretty tacky which makes it kind of hard to keep clean in storage. Something like a Ziploc would work then placed in a tub or velvet bag.

The shape is admittedly a little girly; it is medium-light blue and with the opening looking decidedly like a blossom. I see where they are going with it though, a blossom as equivalent to a pussy thing. It's cute. Anyway, the shape does lend itself to an easy hold in the hand, and it's tight enough to grip lightly and still be pleasurable. However, as I will repeatedly state, it was too small for me in the long run. It's pretty discreet too so I guess, it'd be good to travel with if stored properly as stated above. I don't believe it's a good size for average users because I don't consider myself above average, and it ripped in half.

All in all, The overall design of the toy is too small and a little feminine. Perhaps if they made it about 2 inches longer and about a half inch wider it would really enhance this toy's appeal to me at least.

Not much to say, lube it up, penetrate it and stroke away. Again, too small for me. I didn't even get to try it in the shower because it ripped after a dozen uses.

To care for the jelly material you must use lukewarm water in order to rinse off the lube and other fluids, and then let it air dry in a debris free environment. Otherwise stuff will stick to it. I stored it in a Ziploc bag once completely dry and then placed it in my toy bin in a velvet bag. It is compatible with water based lubes. Personally, I was using Wet Original and it worked well when generously applied.

Have to say it again, it ripped in half, very disappointing.
