Lexi Belle pocket pal - masturbator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Checkmate

The Lexi Belle pocket pal is a mid-priced, open ended masturbator which is designed to be used for either solo or couple use. It would probably be a good choice for a first time user, but those who have used a higher end masturbator, such as a Fleshlight, might find it somewhat disappointing.

The Lexi Belle is made of UR3, TPE, non-phthalate material, and has a soft, realistic feel to it. Unfortunately it had an extremely strong odor, something like Play Dough gone sour! After several washings the odor has decreased somewhat, but is still strong enough to be a major turn off for both my wife and myself.

The interior has soft, uniform ridges which run the entire length of this masturbator. These ridges can easily be felt when toy is used, but for some, may grip the penis a little to firmly.

We really did not care for the overall appearance of this masturbator. The opening is molded from porn star Lexi Belle, with two fingers spreading the labia. When using it the first time, my first thought was it looked like Winston Churchill smoking a big cigar. Not a turn on at all!

The labia is painted an unrealistic bright pink, which fortunately for us washed off after two or three cleanings. This did not bother us, but those who happen to like that color might be disappointed to see it disappear.

The Lexi overall measures six inches long, with the interior opening measuring right at five inches. The width of the opening is 5/8", but is designed to stretch to fit "all". This might be true if "all" is meant to be 2" or less. In my case it was a little too tight.

One plus for the Lexi is that it is fairly easy to clean. The instructions included with it advise you to use with mild soap and water. Do not use alcohol! We found the easiest way to clean it was to soak in soap and water, turn inside out, clean again, and pat down with a towel. I would not use paper towels as I think they might stick to it.

Because of the lingering odor, once it is dried we store it in a sealed plastic bag.

Now to the confusing part. The instructions included with it says that either water-based or silicone lubes can be used. I always thought that silicone lubes were not to be used to UR3. So to be on the safe side, we only used water-based lubes with it. And as always, be sure to use a condom if this toy is to be shared.

My experience with this masturbator did not start off on a good note. I noticed an odor before I opened the box, and after unwrapping it, found the odor overwhelming. After giving it an initial washing the odor did not seem to lessen. While giving it the first of many cleanings, I gave it a once over and really didn't find the overall appearance too appealing at all. But as with many things, maybe the experience of using it might change my mind.

I applied lube to the interior and my cock and tried to enter it. I must have been doing something wrong because I wasn't able to penetrate the opening. I applied more lube, and only after using my fingers to pull the opening apart was I able to get in. The fit was extremely tight, and the going was slow, but I finally was able to get my penis fully inserted. At this point I found that the head of my penis had exited past the opening at the end. So now, it was not only tight, but just a bit too short. I then found that when moving the masturbator, it had a death grip on my cock. It would pull the skin back and forth, but made in painful to try to slide it back and forth over the length of my penis. With the use of additional lube my mission was finally completed, but all in all it was not the experience I had hoped for.

After several uses, I think it has loosened up a bit, but is still way too tight. Will give it several more tries, but at this point I don't think it is going to stay around here very long.

Starting at 5 stars, I subtract one star for the strange odor, one for strange appearance, and two for fit. I will add one star because I'm sure some guys will find the fit okay, leaving a rating of two stars.
