I bought the Teagan Presley Fleshlight for my boyfriend, so that he could have something to play with when I couldn't be around. Little did I know that I was going to end up wanting to play with it so much.

The Teagan Presley Fleshlight comes packaged in an attractive, black cylindrical tin. However, it does have Fleshlight Girls and a picture of Teagan right on it, so it's not exactly discreet. Personally, we kept it because we wanted to use it for storage. The Fleshlight itself has a white, pearlescent case. It's advertised as looking like a regular flashlight, which is almost dead on, except that it would be the biggest flashlight ever. (Also, it does say Fleshlight on the side, but it's the same color as the rest of the case.) As a result, I wouldn't recommend leaving this out on a table or something, particularly if you have inquisitive guests or children, but it's not something that you have to worry about completely hiding either. It would do well on a shelf in a bedroom and would attract little or no attention. The case also has a twist-off cap on both ends. On the larger end, it protects the "face" of the Fleshlight, and the cap on the smaller end increases or decreases suction. The tighter it is, the more suction.

I think I was more excited about the Fleshlight than my boyfriend. We unpacked everything (it also includes a postcard-sized picture of Teagan Presley and comes with a plastic rod in the center of the canal to prevent it from sticking to itself during shipping; be sure to remove this!) and I immediately started admiring the handiwork. It's beautifully molded out of Superskin, which is a fantastic peachy skin color. I was shocked at how soft and squishy the Superskin was. It's so soft, it almost feels powdery. There's also a lot of material at the "business end" of this toy, so you can really pound away at it and have it still feel lifelike. I was immediately jealous that I didn't have any parts of my own that I could put into this toy. Another great thing about this material is that is holds heat very well. Before use, you can soak it in warm water and it will warm right up to body temperature, making the Fleshlight even more realistic. The Superskin smells a bit like plastic, but I had to put my nose right up against it to notice it; you can't tell during use. It also doesn't taste like anything. (Yes, I did in fact lick it.)

Be sure to use a water based lube with this toy. I don't think anyone would think of using it without lube, but just make sure it's water based. It does come with a small packet of lube to try, but as always, my boyfriend and I have our trusty bottle of Maximus that we always go to.

The Superskin is also very easy to clean; all you have to do is take the sleeve out of the plastic case when you're done, and rinse out the sleeve with water. DO NOT USE SOAP. Using soap will degrade the material and make it gooey. Yuck! Then leave the sleeve out of the case to dry. My boyfriend doesn't like to leave it out because he thinks that the sleeve just outside of the case looks weird. No matter how weird it looks, this is necessary. Don't be lazy, guys! If you're having a hard time getting it clean, it is recommended that you use a little isopropyl alcohol. Also, in order to maintain that original silky feeling, you can dust it with some cornstarch (baby powder and talc aren't recommended, as other people have pointed out). I recommend using a cheap paintbrush to get the corn starch all the way down into the shaft.

The interior of the Fleshlight is the Lotus texture, which is described as being tight and smooth on one end, then becoming roomier with ridges towards the end. I stuck my fingers into both ends in an effort to get an idea of this texture, and sure enough, tight on one end, and ridged on the other.

My boyfriend admitted later that he was skeptical of the Fleshlight at first, but now is absolutely a fan. We played with it together the night that we got it, and he said that it felt pretty damn close to real, which, in my opinion, is the biggest compliment someone can give a toy like this. I think that most people would believe that you can only play with this toy by yourself, but we found it to be great for couples' play. I think it would be perfect for "that time of the month" if you want to play with your guy, but aren't in the mood for oral sex and want to do something more interesting than just a hand job. If you're playing together, I think it's easiest if the guy lies on his back with the woman between his legs or beside him, or standing up with the woman behind him. However, if you're using this on your own, I'm sure you could get creative and comes up with all sorts of positions for this. Also, I know Liberator makes some pieces that you can actually put the Fleshlight in and then thrust away at, so those are options as well.

My boyfriend's one complaint about this toy is that while you're thrusting or stroking, the cap on the small end makes a whistling noise, no matter how tightly or loosely it's on. It was pretty distracting for both of us when we tried it out, but it was anything that couldn't be remedied by putting on some music.

I think this toy holds a lot of potential for threesome-esque fantasies. When I was using it on my boyfriend, he kept saying he wanted to start fucking me instead, but I wouldn't let him. It might be fun to switch back and forth between the two.

We still like this toy, but we find that we don't use it as much anymore. It's still a great alternative to a blow job for "that time of the month", but I think it would be better used by a guy who isn't around his partner as much. I would also like to add that I just powdered the Fleshlight with corn starch and have decided that it is absolutely necessary. Before I powdered it, it had a sticky feeling to it and the lips of the labia were sticking together. It was a bit messy, but I just scooped some corn starch up with my fingers and rubbed it on the "face" and then shook some down the shaft and pit a few fingers in each end to spread it around. It feels like new again!
