The product page for this realistic downstairs says it is made of rubber. The front left corner of the box it comes in says that it is made of "R5, Realistic 5.0, The Ultimate Skin". I know just want you are thinking because I was thinking the same thing. What in the world is "R5" and how safe is it? "R5" is a type of PVC that is rubber based(so Eden did have it right). It is phthalate free and does have a super realistic feel to it. In the back, bottom, and left corner of the box, it again tells you that the toy is made of PVC Sil-a-gel formula. This means that Nikki Tyler's realistic downstairs is Cadmium free, latex free, and is non-toxic. But sadly, Nikki is pretty porous and rubber only earns her a rank of 3 on Eden's safety scale. Rubber toys can only be used with water or silicone based lubricants.

The feel of this realistic downstairs is not exactly the same thing as the real thing, but it's pretty darn close. The outer areas feel like a very moisturized skin and has a whole lot of drag to it. The insides do not feel much at all like the real thing. The insides are totally smooth and have not bumps or texture to them. Nikki also has a mound of pubic hair above her vagina. Don't tell Nikki, but her downstairs kind of has a smell. It's not terrible, but it definitely is noticeable. It's a rubbery smell with an extra oomph of something good. It's kind of like baby powder, but flowers also come to mind. It can be clearly smelled as soon as she is taken out of her packaging, but after a few washes it does die down. It never does quite go away though.

Controls & Vibration
The bullet that comes included has a simple dial knob on the front panel. The bullet can hardly be heard, even on the highest setting, when inserted into it's lodge on the back panel of the slab. When inserted into the anus, the vibrations are louder, but not so loud that you could hear them through a closed door. The bullet, when used separately, is on the louder end, but should not be heard through a closed door.

Performance
Generally, I was fairly pleased with the performance of Nikki Tyler's mold, but I have to recommend against it for those males who are well endowed. R5 does have a very nice feeling to it, but it rips very easily. The first time my fellow, who happens to be well hung, used it he ripped her labia and about an inch of her lip.

Since this toy is made of R5 and is pretty porous, it is pretty hard to clean. What we found worked best for us was for my partner to use a condom when playing with her. What has used the best for us is making a warm water and mild soap solution and flushing her a few times with that. Then rinsing her out with just water. Both the box and the plastic bag are recyclable and should be set out as such, should you choose to store her downstairs another way. Sadly, the styrofoam is not and will have to be set out as trash.

About the included Vivid Lube
This 1 ounce bottle of lube comes packaged with your Realistic downstairs, but is individually wrapped in an air tight, plastic cellophane. This will prevent any possible leaks. After removing the plastic wrap, you will see that the he very top of the lid can be lifted and popped back down to reseal. The white lid of this little bottle can be unscrewed and opened as well. So if you decide you like the portability of this little bottle, it can be refilled. The front panel of the lube is pretty basic, simply stating that is is "Vivid Lube" and is made by "Doc Johnson". The back panel tells you this lube was(like the realistic downstairs itself) made in the U.S.A. and packaged here as well. This back panel also gives you a list of ingredients.

The lube is thin, runny, and completely clear. There is nothing thick or textured about this lube in the least. It is very slick and easy for skin to glide over. This lube does not last very long and absorbs into skin and starts to become almost tacky after about 15 minutes of using it.
