Ride the ridges, screw the magnets

This is a vibrating cock ring that stimulates both the clitoris and the outside of the anus. The bullet has 3 speeds with an easy button. The material is porous and frail. The ring might be too tight for some and might even pull out your hair.

Use

This product is a vibrating c-ring manufactured by California Exotic Novelties. It can be used by men during intercourse or it can be used by women in conjunction with a dildo during a solo session. It can also help to free up those busy hands during one of your sessions. The best part is that it's waterproof so you can take it with you into the tub/shower and have yourself a nice wet time.

One of the special things about this ring is the protruding stimulators on either end. This provides ultimate stimulation of more areas and even some often neglected, or difficult to reach areas during partner sex.

It can be used by both beginners or advanced users, and the design is not all that intimidating. Cock rings can be used to maintain longer, stronger erections and may also enhance, as well as delay, orgasm. They can be worn around just the base of the shaft of the penis or both the shaft and balls (if sized correctly).

Caution: Do not wear a cock ring for more than 30 minutes at a time to avoid tissue damage. Cock rings function to constrict blood flow to the penis. These stretchy varieties are the safer options for quick and safe removal but they should only be worn so long as the are comfortable. Should any discomfort, pain, bruising, numbness or discoloration of the penis occur, remove immediately. In some extreme cases, seek medical help. It is also recommended to not fall asleep or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs as it might cause permanent damage to your member.

Material / Texture

The ring is made of TPR which is a rubber-like material. It is less porous than cyberskin but more porous than silicone. It is stretchy, yet firm. At first the smell was terrible. It was a very strong wet rag-like smell. It took a few washes before the smell got out of it. Now it has taken the odour of the soap that I use to clean it. We use Climax Bursts, a highly fragrant toy cleaner that we love.

The material is very sticky so you might want to use some lube when putting it on and also be careful when taking it off. You wouldn't want to pull out some hairs or even tear off some skin. Both silicone and water based lubes are safe to use with this material so the choice is yours.

The magnets are said to be nickel free which is good, though may not matter much since they're completely surrounded and enclosed in the TPR ring.

The material is somewhat frail. On the inside of the ring it has already begun to peel off, as well as the outside of the bullet entry hole. This wasn't like this when we first got it and due to fit issues, the ring hasn't even had the chance to get much use. The material must just be brittle by nature.

The bullet is made of ABS plastic. This is a generally good, body safe material. The box claims that it is silver plated, however. Those with allergies may want to be aware of that. The bullet has a soft, somewhat gritty feel. It is a neat texture, though not very noticeable. This texture does make it quite difficult to insert the bullet in the dedicated hole at the top of the ring though.
    • Somewhat porous
    • Sticky / pulls hair
    • Strong odor

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

At the top of the ring there's a rubber piece shaped like a cylinder. At the top of this cylinder there are 5 ridges that give extra stimulation to the clitoris. The ridges stick up at graduated heights, with the middle ridge being tallest and the outer ridges being much shorter. In this cylinder there's a hole in it for a bullet that is provided with the c-ring. When the bullet is in place, it sits perpendicular to your penis.

At the bottom of this ring is a ball with 6 ridges that is designed to tickle the outside of the anus. Inside the ring are 2 magnetic balls designed to increase stamina. How, you ask? While I didn't get this from it, they are designed to "increase circulation and energy" by being "strategically placed". This feature was lost on me, though maybe that was because tightness was the only sensation I got from my poor fit issue with this ring.

There are 7 raised nubs around the circumference of the ring itself. These nubs functions to stimulate any vulval area that was not already getting any attention from either top clitoral attachment or the bottom anal attachment.

The ring has a diameter of 1" and a maximum stretch of 2 1/4". Though it has some stretch to it, the ring is pretty tight at the base. I didn't dare put it around my balls and shaft together. I am slightly above average in size and this ring was very tight on me. It was so tight on me that it turned my pecker purple after only a short while using it. It may fit the average guy but I'd recommend this ring to guys on the smaller end of the spectrum.

The bullet that comes with the c-ring is 2 1/4" long, and 5/8" wide.
    • May be too tight for some
    • Only fits on penis shaft

Functions / Performance / Controls

The bullet is very easy to turn on. There's a button at the top of the bullet that needs a light push to turn it on.

The bullet has 3 steady speeds and no patterns;
- Low
- Medium
- High

The only way to turn off the bullet is to cycle through all the speeds.

The low and medium speeds are very low but when you bump it up to the high speed, the vibrations are strong and extremely buzzy. For a small, cheap bullet vibe, it is impressively strong.

The vibrations can be felt at the top of the ring. At the bottom, near the anus, the vibrations are very faint and can barely be felt.

Care and Maintenance

The ring and bullet are very easy to care for and store. Since it can not be completely disinfected, sharing is not advised. It is recommended to wash them before and after each and every use. Take the batteries out of the bullet before washing or storing and always make sure the battery cap is secured tightly before using or washing it.

A toy cleaner or a mild soap and warm water can be used for cleaning both the ring and the bullet. Since the bullet is waterproof, it is very easy to wash. Do not boil either of them as that may destroy them.

They can be stored in a zipper seal bag or in their original packaging. They are both small items so storage is simple, wherever you may choose to keep them.

Packaging

The vibrating c-ring comes in a cardboard box. It is not really a discreet packaging. Three out of the four sides of the box have an enlarged picture of the c-ring. It also says things like "Increased Stamina!" and "Superior Support" on it. Aside from that there are no graphic photos on it so it could be alright for gifting in a private setting.

Inside the box, the ring and bullet are sealed in their own respective plastic bags and roll around freely. An extra full set of watch batteries is included for the bullet. There are no instructions provide besides what is written on the box (which isn't much). There are just some safety warnings and basic use instructions on the back and sides of the box.

The size of the box is a bit too big to store the c-ring but it can still be used for storing it or even your other toys.

Experience

This c-ring was not one for me. It was much too tight for me to wear. After a few minutes I could not feel anything down south and had to remove it.

As for my girlfriend, we tried different positions but the only one that worked was girl on top. My girlfriend liked this position best because she was able to grind herself on the c-ring and get stimulation from both the bullet and the anal ball. The distances worked for her once she was able to push them down while grinding on top of me. Any other position (from the short time we were able to test this out) did not give her any stimulation from the anal ball and the clitoral nub was either in the wrong location or it bumped against her without giving her enough constant stimulation.

I am sure there would be other positions that would work besides just girl on top but we were unable to give this an adequate test run since it is much too small for me. Since it cause me to go numb we are just not very tempted to keep trying this one.

I wondered what those darn magnets were for! I wishlisted this because my sister has been wanting to try different cock rings. I've gotten her one that she loved, but wants to try a new one. This might just go off the list! Lol. Sorry it wasn't the best. And thanks for the excellent review on it!
