Surprised it fits so tightly!

If you've never tried a cock ring, or you miss that stretchy feeling, here is a great ring for you. At a price of only $3.99 it's a steal, and it will fit most men out there. My fiance is quite large and it fits him very well, and very comfortably. I'm a little let down by the material type, but it's no biggie; Simply buy two or three of these and you're good for about a year.

Use

This rubber ring is a multipurpose ring. It is marketed on EdenFantasys as a cock ring, but I can imagine that it would work well with a harness.

If you are a man who wishes to increase the length and intensity of his erection, this is a great product for you. Makes a really nice beginner/intermediate cock ring, as it gives a good tight grip, but can easily be removed in case of emergency.

This ring fits comfortably in all of the following places:

- Around the base of the shaft

- Around the scrotum

- Around both the cock and scrotum

- Underneath the head of the penis

Material / Texture

This cock ring/multipurpose ring is made out of rubber. Rubber is an elastic hydrocarbon polymer which occurs as a milky emulsion in the sap of a number of plants but can also be produced synthetically. It has a safety rating of 3/10.

Unfortunately, my friends, rubber does not clean easily. Rubber is very porous. If this were a dildo, you would want to use a condom with it everytime. But we are out of luck, as you can't cover this cock ring with anything. You can try sliding it over a condom (using compatible lubricants to ease application and reduce the chance of damage to the condom). This is the easiest way to keep your cock ring as clean as possible.

I would recommend buying a few of these, rather than just one. As you notice discoloration, or any uncleanliness of the ring, you can simply throw it out and move on to the next one.

It actually had little to no smell. It smelled a bit like the cardboard box and plastic it came in, but this wore off after about an hour or so. It is smooth, but feels a lot like an eraser on the end of a pencil. The only difference is that it doesn't completely fall apart as an eraser does. My partner found this texture to be helpful in keeping a good grip on his cock.

This material was stretchy, but nowhere near as stretchy as a material like jelly. It is very similar to silicone cock rings, but probably even tighter than those. My fiance and I were really happy with this. We like our stretchy rings to keep a good grip, but still be easy enough to put on.

The Rubber Ring cock ring will pull your partner's pubic hair if you are not careful. I recommend holding down his hair while he applies the ring, or vice versa. That way no hair gets caught underneath the ring, causing major discomfort during intercourse.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

This is a circular, white, regular old cock ring. No special ribs or bumps, and no special attachments. My fiance and I personally prefer cock rings with simple designs, as we are not huge fans of the vibrating rings. They never did much for us. If you're a beginner, or new to cock rings, this one would be perfect for you.

The Rubber Ring is very adjustable; With an unstretched diameter of 1.25 and a maximum stretched diameter of 2.25 inches. You have just enough stretch to comfortable apply this ring, but just enough grip to help you keep that erection lasting as long as possible.

I love the simple design, and you'll find that it is very similar to a rubber band. I actually keep a lot of my cock rings on the bathroom counter. I'm currently moved back in with my parents (as of today) and I've been struggling to hide my "collection" of sex toys. This cock ring can easily be mistaken for a rubber band, so leaving it out on the counter isn't going to alarm anyone.

The great thing about this ring is that it is great for both small and large men. My fiance is 8.5 inches long, and 5.1 inches in circumference; Most cock rings do NOT fit my fiance. We've actually had several snap just from being around the base of his shaft. To our surprise, this one fit perfectly and did it's job.

The Rubber Ring kept my fiance hard as concrete for half an hour (after 30 minutes cock rings should always be removed) and really increased his sensitivity, helping him better enjoy our love-making. Absolutely marvelous. And to think, at such a low price?!

Functions / Performance / Controls

This ring worked very well, aside from what we had originally expected. If you've read my other reviews, you'll see how I mention that my fiance and I usually use solid cock rings at the moment. This has got to be the best cock ring around that is not solid. It gives you an excellent grip, while still maintaining enough elasticity to be removed if needed. Very comfortable to wear, and there are no imperfections that cause discomfort.

Care and Maintenance

As I mentioned, rubber can not easily be washed. You can use any method you wish, whether it be toy cleaner, antibacterial soap, bleach solution, or dishwashing - You will still get the same outcome. You can only get SO clean with rubber.

I have found that if you simply wash this ring directly after use, you wont have a lot of issues with it getting too dirty or smelly. I actually dishwash this one, and it seems to be working very well for me. I have purchased this ring twice (because I'm a germaphobe), but even the one I trashed recently didn't gain a smell or discoloration. I suppose that after long periods of time this may happen to some people. If you sweat a lot during sex (who doesn't?) or you use colored lubricants and condoms, you'll probably want to buy 2 or 3 of these to keep handy.

I go by this one golden rule: Trash it after two months. If my toys are porous, they do not live a long life in my collection - especially smaller items such as cock rings. If I notice the toy is still VERY clean, I let it stay another month or so. But 2 months is usually the rule. I recommend this for everyone.

This ring should not be used with multiple partners if you are afraid of transferring STD's, as rubber is very porous. This is a common mistake that many people make out there. If you are a man who has sex with several men or women, consider getting a non-porous cock ring such as one made of metal, glass, or hard plastic.

Rubber, however, has an amazing wear-resistance. This ring will not loose it's tightness over time. I've stretched this one over multiple dildos and dongs just to test this fact. Each time, the ring returned to its original size. Absolutely marvelous! So if you aren't a germaphobe like myself, this ring has the potential to last you a very, very, very long time.

It is dirt-resistant, meaning it will not absorb any sort of solid dirt or dust. It will however absorb germs and bodily fluids.

Packaging

This cock ring came in a clear, shell-like case that snaps shut. There is not really any information whatsoever on this package, but I could see it possibly being a good way to store the ring safely. The paper insert is removable, and all it says is "Rubber Ring". Therefore, the packaging is very cheap.

This doesn't really bother me since this is a cheap rubber cock ring, and not a glass dildo. Who really cares how good that packaging is?

Personal comments

Cock rings can be dangerous, so if you are a beginner, my fiance and I both recommend using a rubber/jelly/silicone ring to start out with. Such as this one I am reviewing right now. Solid metal/plastic rings are more of an intermediate/advanced user's choice.

The package did not mention this, but here are the health risks of using a cock ring. As long as you take a cock ring off after 30 minutes you should never have to deal with these issues. However, if you feel uncomfortable or in pain, please remove the ring immediately.

WARNING: Prolonged and frequent use of penis enhancing devices may cause ruptured blood vessels, hemorrhage, and hematoma formation. These devices can also aggravate existing medical conditions such as Peyronies disease urethral stricture. Penis enhancing devices should always be used with discretion.

Other than that, I only want to mention that this ring may be too tight for larger men. Although it has a good stretch on it, it goes right back to it's regular size. So if your cock is large (and I don't mean "average" large) this might be uncomfortable. My fiance is quite large, but he really likes a good squeeze.

Experience

Our experience with this ring was very good. Probably ever better since we expected to slip it on and immediately say "Nope, doesn't do the job. Where's the metal one?". The Rubber Ring cock ring took us by surprise and did an excellent job at everything it's supposed to do:

- Slightly increasing the girth

- Slightly prolonging an erection

- Making it easier to hold an erection

- Promoting firmer erections

- Increasing sensitivity

- Last, but not least, pleasing both partners!
Follow-up commentary
This Rubber Ring has still been really awesome, and I like it even more since the time I purchased it. Strong enough to do the job, but not too tight so that it is painful. Great for any male.
