The Maximize Ring by Dorcel is a pure silicone cock ring that stretches. Yes, you read that right, stretchy pure silicone. It isn't the only one out there of its kind, but they certainly are rare. This means that you have a body safe alternative to most of the stretchy rings available made from lesser materials.
Now, it doesn't stretch as much as many TPR rings that are available, but for cock ring purposes, that's probably a good thing. Many stretchy rings are too stretchy to fulfill some of their primary functions; maintaining the erection and delaying ejaculation. Rigid rings often make a guy that's new to cock rings nervous because they are more difficult to put on and take off. Sizing is also more critical. The Maximize Ring splits the difference and provides a stretchy ring with decent resistance so it can do its job adequately without freaking anybody out.

The Dorcel brand is a new one to me in sex toy world, but I find the material this ring is made of very impressive. I didn't perform a flame test on it, so I'm taking EdenFantasys word that it is pure silicone. It has a similar feel to some of the pliable silicones that are available although I haven't gotten my hands on Tantus' Super Soft C-Ring...yet. This particular ring design isn't just ring shaped. It is like a series of balls in a ring with slightly narrower sections between them. It makes the look pretty unique and may lend to the flexibility of the ring. The silicone is matte finish and is smooth to the touch with a slight drag. It might pull hair a little more than a slicker finish, but it isn't bad. It really isn't designed to move or provide stimulation to the receiver, so the texture isn't all that critical in this case.

The Maximize Ring is certainly not maximum in size. It is just 1 1/4" inside diameter. The nice thing is that it stretches out to about 3" diameter, so it should fit just about any guy. The larger you are, the tighter it is going to be. So, if you are well endowed and you don't enjoy a tight cock ring, it may work better for you around just the shaft than around the shaft and balls. That stretch ability gives the wearer peace of mind that he can get the ring off in a hurry if he needs to.
The chain of balls shape does seem to lend itself to allowing things to stretch better. Other than that, it is mostly aesthetic as it doesn't really factor into the stimulation for either individual.

As a pure silicone toy, care and maintenance are a piece of cake. Normal before use and after use washing can be performed with soap and hot water. For more extensive cleaning, it can be boiled, wiped with a 10% bleach solution, or put in a dishwasher for sterilization. Silicone is non-porous and can withstand excessive heat which, after proper cleaning, allows for safety in sharing with multiple partners. Water based and oil based lubes are both acceptable, but the use of silicone lube should be avoided as it could degrade the material. One of the great things about silicone is it's stability. If you take care of it, it will last a very long time.

After receiving this ring, I looked for a good opportunity to test it out, and fortunately, I didn't have to wait long. Before the next time my partner and I were going to take a shower together, I tucked it into the shampoo tray in our shower. When we shower together it usually leads to some fun times, and this time did not disappoint. After we took care of the normal cleaning, we began some foreplay and she asked if I had any toys to try out. I mentioned the Maximize Ring and pulled it out.
