BioniX Light - sex machine by EdenFantasys - review by Paradocs

I apologize ahead of time for the lengthy review. Actually, I don't apologize, this toy is worth every bit of this review, and I hope I can do it justice!

This is obviously a freestanding Thrusting Sex Machine. As opposed to handheld toys, this toy is meant to be put in place and enjoyed...it does all the work for you. It comes prepackaged with a dildo attachment, a male masturbator, and two smaller vibrating bullets, one is more of an egg shape, and one is longer. These smaller bullets plug into the base itself, making batteries obsolete and allowing you to use them endlessly to stimulate the clit, nipples, or any other tender bits while the machine itself does the hard work.

The base has four suction cups that adhere nicely to any firm surface, although we found that it stayed pretty well in place on a bed as well. The angle can be adjusted using four knobs, two at the top of the toy and two at the base of the shaft. By loosening all four, we could angle the piston anywhere from angled down, all the way to pointing straight up.

At first glance, the machine itself seemed rather "plasticky." Even the bullets seemed like they were cheaper construction. However, the actual functional units (motor, shaft, etc.) are very well-made, thicker metal with reinforcements, and appear very durable. In order to keep the weight down, there's simply no other way of making a toy like this. As it is, the surfaces are easy to clean, and we couldn't identify any areas that look like they won't hold up.

The dildo is fairly plain - no veins sticking out or large grooves. I like this as I'm not so much a fan of bumpy, grooved toys, but if you are, you'll find this to be a bit "vanilla."



The masturbator is detailed enough to be erotic but not so much as to be unrealistic. It has textured bumps and ridges inside, which my hubby really enjoyed. The entire masturbator can be removed from the thick plastic shell for easy cleaning.





The bullets, as mentioned above, are plastic, but the wiring itself looks to be attached well, and the vibrations are very, very strong!

This is not a toy you can hide away in your nightstand. If you live in a shared space or have nosy kids, keep this in mind. The entire toy is about 2 ft long when assembled and about a foot high. We saved the box it came in, and it's sitting on a higher shelf in the closet for now, but we may clear out a spot in a bench we keep linens in at the foot of the bed. We can cover it up with blankets but still have easy access when the moment is right!

Regarding the length and girth of the dildo, at first, I thought this was going to be too big. It definitely looks thicker and longer than most of my dildos, but I was happily surprised to find that the TPR material is so soft and squishy that it was easily insertable (with a bit of foreplay and lube) and although it will fill you up, it does so comfortably. There is a firmer core that seems to travel about half way up the shaft. This allows it to be flexible but also firm enough for the thrusting motion. Even with the first use, we didn't have any problem with insertion, and it didn't flop around or fall out.

The masturbator has a nice tight hole, but like the dildo, it is flexible and soft. It wrapped around my husband's eager shaft and held him tightly, but it also seemed to slide easily.



The bullets are very basic in appearance, but these are not meant to be the highlight of the toy. Instead, these are a wonderful addition, providing very strong clitoral stimulation for me while the toy was thrusting. As they are all powered together, this is an all-in-one device, and I doubt you will be reaching for any other toys.

There is also a handle at the base of the piston, which is adjustable. Although not essential if playing with this toy as a couple, for masturbation, it can give you some control over angle and depth when by yourself, especially if using this toy on a surface that the suction cups can't attach to, such as a bed.

This machine requires electricity...no battery would provide enough juice to power this. The plug and adapter are located in a white box near the bullets and controller. Just take it out and plug it in. The cords are plenty long enough...we plugged this in at the top of the bed, and there was plenty of distance to put the machine all the way at the base of the bed. There are three plug-ins on the side of the unit - one for the power cord and two to attach the handheld controller. I think you can only plug them into the correct slot, but the directions are pretty clear, too, telling you exactly which port to use for each of the cables.



The entire machine, even the bullets, can be controlled with the handheld controller. Once again, the cord is plenty long, meaning you can be quite a bit away from the actual machine and still control it. The large, central knob controls the thrusting action and speed of the main unit. There are also two smaller rotating dials that control each of the bullets independently.

The dildo and masturbator attachments are made of TPR, which is very soft and skin-like. These can be washed with warm soap and water, dried, and a little corn starch can be applied to keep them pliable, soft, and pleasurable for future use. We used water-based lube, and they were extremely slippery but also felt very realistic.

The bullets are hard plastic and can be wiped clean or even washed carefully. I wouldn't consider any of this toy to be waterproof, so don't put any of the electrical connections under running water.

The entire toy was packaged in a large box with two layers. When we opened the box, there was a piece of cardboard covering a styrofoam "tray". This was nice because it not only hides the contents but also helps protect them when you eagerly cut into the tape and rip it open (you know you will!).



Underneath the "tray" was the actual machine, itself packaged professionally but easy to lift out. Looking at the contents of the tray, the dildo and masturbator were obvious. There was also a box that contained the plug and wire harness that powers the toy. You will see a spring in a plastic bag - don't lose this, as it is needed and not simply a spare. Finally, in individual plastic bags, we found the controller and two bullets.

Assembly is not difficult and took less than 5 minutes. The directions are clear, explaining each step in detail. The first thing you will need to do is remove the retaining nut from the end of the shaft, threading it off counter-clockwise. The included spring can then be slipped onto the shaft. Compress this until you can screw the nut back on tightly.





The attachments themselves are easily threaded onto the shaft and can be tightened by adjusting the nut. The cords are easily identified and plugged in, including the bullets, which attach to the hand-held controller.

This is obviously not a toy for beginners and not something you want to purchase for everyday use (or maybe you do!). We would consider it to be an advanced toy for couples and individuals really looking to spice things up in the bedroom. Also, keep in mind that you will "give up some control" when using this toy. Although you do have the power to change speed and depth by changing position and adjusting the hand-held controller, this toy is a monster and will keep going without mercy if you let it. If you can lie back or stand above its vertical position and simply enjoy it, it is amazing. Use the bullets to stimulate your clit, but let the toy itself do the hard part!

Despite all of its qualities, we did find just a few points where it could use some improvement. First, this does not take standard attachments. Many sex machines use universal adapters, but this is a threaded, screw-on shaft. I'm not sure how, or if, any additional accessories, such as anal beads, could be adapted to it. I'm sure there's a way, but we haven't figured it out yet. Then again, we haven't worked too hard on doing this either.

Second, we found that, particularly while using the masturbator, the angle can be tricky. Standing against the side of the bed worked well, but if he got "weak in the knees" and leaned forward, it would either shift (if the knobs weren't tight enough) or seemed to put a bit more pressure on the piston. This did seem to cause some slowing, and the spring would catch where it enters the machine, causing an annoying noise.

To be transparent, we never dreamed of purchasing something like this. It's definitely more expensive than most other toys, impractical for travel, and difficult to hide from prying eyes. However, we are now very happy that we got our hands on this beauty! It adds a bit of passion and excitement and definitely an air of naughtiness and intimacy. Watching your partner use this will leave you speechless...

Despite the fact that this is, in reality, an electric machine, it is surprisingly quiet. We've purchased handheld thrusting toys that were far louder, some with annoying mechanical clangs and bangs. The Bionix Light does have a mechanical "whirr" but is quite enough to use behind a closed door.

If you have a sense of adventure and a little bit of spare money to spend on your love life, it's an investment that is worth it!
