About author

This book is edited by Alison Tyler, who does a great job (again), of gathering up stories for this Cleis Press book. "G is for Games" is one of a series of alphabet-themed erotica collections published by Cleis. Tyler is an acclaimed erotica author, and she has edited several books for Cleis, including this series(which is now up to "H", by the way).

Content / Style / Audience

The thirteen stories included in this collection are varied in style, content, and tone. So even though EVERY story in this book may not be for EVERYONE reading, the variety practically guarantees that there's something for everyone. Most of these stories are around ten pages, a couple are longer, and a couple shorter. These bite-size stories always seem like just the right thing to read at bedtime or 'bed' time, alone or with your lover. Most of these stories are about heterosexual sex, but there is some lesbian action, and one man-woman-man threesome story, which is incredibly sexy and very hot. There's a little spanking, and and a little vanilla. Like I said, this little book has a little something for everyone.

The theme is obviously games. Some of the games are sexual mind games (always my favorite!), some are actual games, like baseball, seven minutes in heaven, or even just 'alone' games -- games we play in our own mind...they're all represented here.

Design

This little book is SO CUTE! It's smaller than a standard trade paperback, measuring a mere 5" x 7" and just a little over 1/4" thick. The glossy cover features a large red "G" and a sexy pinup girl. Even though she's sexy, she's dressed, and the title doesn't really give away anything about the contents. I'd say this is a discreet little travel-friendly book that you could take anywhere.
The design is gorgeous, and the pinup girl is repeated along with the title of each story. Overall, this is a cute and well-made book.

Follow-up commentary
I have not read this book again, but it is still cute and portable with hot mostly-vanilla stories! The size is really perfect for tossing in a purse and the cover is discreet. Travel-friendly!
