I Love Lust

Women in Lust is an erotic anthology that focuses on the lust, just like the title says. There are good stories in it, however just be aware that they are mainly heterosexual encounters. Overall this was a good anthology.

extremely useful review
Women in Lust is a collection of erotic stories that focus on the raw feeling of lust and tries to leave all of that "mushy" love stuff (not in all cases) out of the equation. The collection is edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel who is a well known author in this genre that has written many stories and edited many collections. Personally, I tend to enjoy most of the collections she has edited, unless they are more on the vanilla side.

This collection has a pretty nice variety of stories, with some being more arousing than others. However, it is definitely catered toward female readers and has stories that mainly focus on heterosexual couples/flings. I did enjoy the collection as a whole, but as of the last year I realize that I like my erotica on the intense side and like to read a lot of BDSM themed stories. If you like your erotic "regular" (not necessarily vanilla) then this should be fine for you.

As always, there were a few stories that stood out for me and that I recommend more than the others. Here are a few of my favorites:

Bite Me by Lucy Hughes- Although this story doesn't have as much "sex" in it, I still really enjoyed this focus on a new fetish of mine.

Something to Ruin- I personally liked this story because it involved some outdoor play and some submission. It was a read that I found to be a turn on.

Orchid by Jacqueline Applebee- This story has a narrator who is into more intense sexual play but is lusting for someone who she knows is "vanilla". Can she make him into what she really wants?

Cherry Blossom by Kayar Silkenvoice- I found this story to be refreshing because it was one of the few non-heterosexual stories. I also liked the imagery that was a part of the story and also the fact that it incorporated a bit of a different culture and place because I like erotica based in different places.
Experience
Personally, I found this to be a fairly erotic and easy read. I tend to finish erotic anthologies quickly (as long as other things don't get in the way). This book is the normal size of other trade market paperback books. This is one cover that isn't so bad, which makes reading it in public less intimidating. It has a woman on the front who has her eyes shut and seems to be bent over, but the focus is on her arms and face and there are no other "bits" showing that will scare fellow passengers.
