The Cosmo Kama Sutra by Hearst - review by tashaisrad

If you have ever read a Cosmo magazine, then you will not see a change in this book. It is written so everyone can understand why fucking in water feels good.

This book is mainly written for women ages 20-45 who are looking to spice up their sex life, or women who are looking for a reason to get their male friends to hold them upside down while having sex. The positions in this book range from basic to extremely advanced - so advanced that they recommend stretches beforehand. Now with this book, the positions are split into categories (just add water, girl-on-top, doggie style, etc.), and when you flip to the page of your desired positions, it is rated by "carnal challenge", which is represented by flames; the rule of thumb here is the more flames, "the hotter they payoff."
I did, however, love the fact that they talked about proper lubes for certain acts and how to find your G-spot!

QUEER COUPLES BE WARNED:
A lot of these positions are not very adaptable for LGBT*Q couples.

The book comes inside a special box, which I thought was odd, but hey, it keeps the book from getting stained.

I just really was not a fan; I got this book expecting it to be fun to adapt to, but it's really made for very fit, somewhat acrobatic, straight, cis-gendered couples. It really became a headache. I do not recommend this book for anyone who is queer in any way, because you will just be frustrated and let down.
