Mastering Your Man - A Fun and Informational Read

Overall, I think this is a good book. If you're on the fence about it, just buy. I really don't think anyone will be disappointed in this book. Even as a non beginner myself, I still discovered new things by reading this.

I think this book could benefit anyone who has a male partner in their life. I think it is especially good for beginners, people who just want or need to know more about men, penises, and how that whole kit 'n' caboodle works. As someone who isn't a beginner, I still learned a few new things, and had fun reading this book.

The tone of this book is easy going and really seems like it was written by a friend for a friend. It didn't feel too stuffy or clinical at all, and I found it a breeze to page through the whole thing in one sitting. Although I was able to get through it pretty quickly, it's a nice book to keep around for referencing later on. You never know when you might need a refresher.

The tone in this book is very casual and even has some decent humor sprinkled in here and there. Sex should be fun so I think that it is appropriate that a book about sex is fun too.
This book featured one photo of a real person, and that is the photo on the cover. It shows a male body but not the man's head or face. All of the other photos in this book are informational and instructional illustrations. I really appreciated the photos in this book because the author and publishing company really wanted to show the things they were explaining in the book and they did it in a non offensive and informational way.

This book covers several different topics and I think it did a pretty good job on each one. Here's a general outline of what it talks about:
-Male genitalia
-Blow jobs and hand jobs
-Anal play and the P spot
-Erogenous zones
-Sex toys for men
-Male libido
-Porn, taboo stuff
-Kink, fantasies

This book also features a fill in the blank personal sex manual section in the back that allows you or your partner to write about the things that they like or don't like during sex, what turns them on/off, fantasies, and other little tid-bits about bedroom play. I think it would be beneficial for both partners to fill out this form because I've always thought that better communication leads to better sex. This is just a neat little form that's conveniently ready for you to fill out.

Personal comments

When I first ordered this book, I had spoken to a girlfriend of mine and found out that she had just finished reading this same book. She had nothing but good things to say so I was pretty excited to get it. We talked about the things she had read and how she felt about the book for probably about an hour. I think this is a great example of how casual and informative this book is. If you have friends that are open to talking about sex and experiences, this would be a great book to bond over. If you don't have friends that are open to that, maybe you should give them this book.

Very nice review. Thanks for giving a good idea of what is actually covered. It's a shame there aren't more photos of actual people. I was on the fence about whether or not to get this book, but now I definitely will. Eventually. (I have about a 4 page Eden wish list, LOL.)

i have a feeling "talk to your partner" is a big part of the book.
