Not *Just* For Women...

Violet Blue is a talented, sex positive educator/writer/community icon who, among other things writes a popular blog at www.tinynibbles.com and was recently named one of the 25 most influential people on the web by Forbes magazine. She writes a column for the San Francisco Gate, puts out a great podcast called "Open Source Sex", writes excellent sexual guides, and compiles smoking hot collections of erotica.

This book is full of deliciously dirty erotica; surprisingly short and sweet vignettes that spare no modesty as they lay out the tasty details of searing hot encounters that - I suppose - specifically appeal to women. There's nothing too kinky, and most of the sex is boy-girl; but there is indeed some multi-person encounters, a few slaps of riding crops and some same sex couplings. This erotica would suit those who want something explicit, but nothing overly kinky or specialized.

In most erotica collections, the quality of story ranges from excellent to just OK. I suspect this is because many collections hang onto a theme - some common thread tying them together. This collection, however, is unhindered - Violet Blue simply collects what she feels are the best stories to cross her desk, and magic happens. We go from sexy roommate foursomes to surprise anal sex at the Macintosh genius bar without batting an eye, and it all remains hot and easy to read and most importantly - titillating. Delicious.
