The Copy Cat Novel

If you liked Fifty Shades of Grey, I wouldn't recommend reading this. It's the same story line with a few tweaks. If you like a love story with good sex scenes, by all means read it. I wouldn't buy this book though.

somewhat useful review
Bared to You is about Eva Tramell, who has just received a job at an advertising company. On her first day she has to do a presentation for Gideon Cross. Gideon is the CEO of the company. Eva was just hired and he immediately is attracted to her. Any moment he can get with her isn't enough. He tells Eva right out that he wants to fuck her. She doesn't know how to take it, because Gideon is a known ladies man. She falls into his dark desire and everything goes from there. She is finding herself in the tabloids as the it-girl in Gideon's life. When she decides to stay the night at his place, she soon finds out he has a terrible evil that is taunting him in his nightmares.

I am still in the process of reading this book, but I don't think I will be reading the next one. This is the biggest copy cat of Fifty shades of Grey. Both main characters are rich business men with a sexual fetish and dark secrets. In both books, the female characters break up with the men because of their issues, but they want to work it out because they love them too much. Both books are in big cities. Even the girls names are almost the same; Ana versus Eva. The only reason I read this book as far as I did is because I am a hopeless romantic. I'm a sucker for a cute love story. Personally, I feel that the characters in this book are not as attractive as in Fifty Shades of Grey. I like Christian's physical description more, and the same with Anastasia. Even the covers are almost the same. Couldn't Sylvia Day get any of her own ideas?

All in all, I think this book is just a great redo of 50 shades of grey. If you want to read this book I wouldn't recommend buying it, just check it out of the library.
Experience
I felt like it got slow in the middle of the book. I've been on chapter 15 for about a week now and I am having a hard time picking it back up.
Follow-up commentary
I read the whole book and it was boring to me because it was the same type of story as 50 Shades of Grey. It took me forever to get through this book because I kind of dreaded reading it but I wanted to get to the end to see if the plot would take a complete turn, venturing away from 50 shades. Not for me.

Thanks for sharing, I think I'll pass. I was hoping it wouldn't be exactly like the other story bummer.

Thanks for the review. I just got this on Kindle and have noticed it is quite similar to another popular book.
