Being a fan of both books and kink, I decided to pick up this collection of Best Fetish Erotica. The book's cover has a tantalizing photo of a woman's latex-clad backside. It's pretty hot before you even crack open the cover.

The collection is edited by Cara Bruce and is 183 pages long. The book's put out by Cleis Press, who put together a lot of the erotic volumes sold on EF.

This collection has 20 stories in it. I have to say I was pretty stunned by the variety. There's a story on knife play (one of the reasons I picked up the collection), race fetishism, car fetishism, religious play/nun spanking, and more. "Machine" is also a stand out story, it involves a woman being made into a sex doll, the objectification angle is weirdly erotic. There's even a story about a woman who's turned on by the color red. Something for everyone, and then some. Stuff you never knew could be turned sexual. This book is pretty mind-opening. I suggest it if you enjoy experimental sex play.

What I enjoyed about this collection is that the stories read very well as stories, not flatly as porn. Often you forgot you were reading erotica, necessarily. Not all the stories have fairytale happy endings, this collection is very human. It may not be for everyone. Definitely no fluffy 'nilla sex found here.
