Pretty lofty goal for a bubble bath! I'm so pleased to report that it does an excellent job transporting you from your everyday life and tub to a sudsy, tropical oasis. After my 40 minute soak in a sweetly scented bath, I had skin so soft I didn't need to use lotion.

The bubble bath is an opaque creamsicle-orange liquid. It has a shimmery sheen and is really very pretty. It is thinner than shampoo or most body washes, the thickness is more comparable to chocolate syrup. The texture is creamy and smooth, like body wash.

The label says "We pour in coconut oil, aloe vera oil, vitamin E. We leave out parabens, sodium chloride, phthalates, GMO's, mineral oil, petrolatum, gluten, triclosan."

The ingredients list reads: Water (Aqua), Sodium coco sulfate, Coco-betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Aloe Barbadenis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Laurel Glucoside, Fragrance, Glycol Stearat, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Potassium Sorbate, Red 40, Yellow 5.

The first time I opened the lid to take a whiff, I exclaimed "Oh wow!" out loud. It. smells. amazing. Like a really fragrant coconut cupcake, only better! Sadly, it does not taste nearly so good. :) Tastes like soap.

The strength of the smell is powerful right from the bottle, but diluted in water it is very light. So, in the bath it was light and afterward was even lighter on the skin. Used as a body wash in the shower, I found that the smell was stronger in the shower, but still only lightly perfumed the skin. If you want a stronger, skin-lingering deliciousness, I recommend getting the matching mousse.

Yum, yum! This is one delightful bubble bath. You can feel like an adult using it, and the bottle looks so cute and girly sitting out. It would also be an awesome gift for anyone who could use some pampering.

I'm currently sitting in the bath reviewing this bath froth. The tub started off with an impressive amount of bubbles and a lovely scent. I always want to enjoy lasting bubbles like you see in the movies, so I was really hopeful for this quality product to deliver. However, as I shaved my legs the bubbles dissapated and did not return even when I added some extra froth and hot water halfway through my bath. There is one clump of bubbles that has lasted the past 20 minutes in the corner, which leads me to believe that your bubbles will last a lot longer if you are soaking without moving or splashing around too much. If you want to use this bubble bath for some sexy fun times with a partner, do so for the sent and the silky feel of the water rather than for lasting bubbles.

I used it as a shower gel yesterday and enjoyed the smell, but found it similar to my other shower gels in all ways except it was thinner.

A clear, 17.4 oz bottle with pink, white, and gray print on the label. It is really cute, simple, and feminine. Made in the USA, though the company is based in Canada.

Is it worth $20?

The packaging is nicer than drugstore stuff, and the smell is to die for. The bottle is quite large and will last a long time. My one shower and bath used roughly 1/8th of the product (I have a huge soaker tub so used more than I would with a standard bath.) I will be re-buying when I run out, but next time I will get the package deal with the body mousse because the smell is so divine and I want it to be able to use it in and out of the bath!

Warning: A potential side effect is that it it can make you feel like a princess. I requested a pina colada to be served to me in my bath, and I left my clothes strewn all about the bathroom for my manservant to tidy up. :)
