If words like "organic" and "vegan" turn you on, then this may be the gel for you! I found cold, tingly sensations weren't my thing, but if that's what you're going for, this thick gel might be just right.

Use

Does "organic" make you shiver? Does "vegan" make your g-spot tingle? Then the Intimate Organics Discover is the g-spot gel for you! It's an organic, vegan, paraben free, glycerin free, water-based g-spot gel. (What a mouthful.) It can be used inside and out, and I supposed it could be orally ingested, but I wouldn't recommend it. I don't have very sensitive skin, but I do have allergies, and with this gel, I've had no problems so far.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture and viscosity is really nice. It's thick, as a gel should be, but not super thick. Compared to KY Gel, that I've used often, the Discover line has a bit of a different texture and isn't as thick and gooey. It comes in a little squeeze out bottle, and being gel, comes out easily. It's not messy. However, after sitting on the skin for a little, it can start to sloowwwly drip. It doesn't feel very sticky, but because it is an arousal gel, it can produce a tingly, cold feeling.

Taste / Aroma

The peppermint oil gives the Discover a slight minty smell, and it's pleasant. It's not very strong, when applied 'down there', I can only maybe catch a light touch of the smell in the air. The gel itself looks almost like toothpaste when it comes out of the bottle. It's white-ish and partially translucent. The taste (yeah, I licked it. :D) is weird. It's kind of like vegetable oil that's had a mint sitting in it. It's not something I'd want to have in my mouth for long.

Performance

This gel is probably best for solo play, or quickies. During longer sessions, we've had to reapply maybe two or three times. During use, the gel gets cold, and sometimes it does feel a little tingly, too.

Cleaning up after was a tad difficult. For short-term cleaning, I like to just rinse off with water, but with the Discover, it's best to get it off with soap. I think the oils in it make it a little more difficult to clean up.

Packaging

Okay, this is really my fault, for not looking at the 1:1 view, but for some reason, I really thought I was getting a bigger bottle. I felt pretty silly when I saw the box, my mind went "huh. That's it?" If you're not sure how much 1 fl.oz. is (or if you're a bit of a dumb-ass, like me), check the 1:1 view.

Personal comments

I thought the cool tingly effect would be really nice, because I like temperature play with my glass/ceramic toys. However, honestly, it was just a little too much for me. I felt like I had just rubbed Icy-hot or Bengay, or something on my boyfriends dick and the hot part just hadn't kicked in yet. If you like tingly feelings and cold, then go for it! For me, though, I found it just wasn't my thing.
Follow-up commentary
I've tried using this gel a few more times, and it's not so bad, actually. I've found that for solo play, especially quick solo sessions, it's kinda neat. I don't really know if it does anything to help stimulate my g-spot, but it's thick, which I like for solo play, and then you get a minty finish! Usually, my initial opinions on products don't change, but after using this gel a little more with myself, I have started to enjoy this organic little gel more. The friction when using this with a partner was too much, but for solo play, go for it!
