Dude, Where's My Feather Duster? And Cardboard: The New Tin!

the faults in this product don't necessarily make or break the deal. It's still easy to have a good time with what it has to offer.
Published:
Pros
Full sized products, good selection, large box can hold additional items.
Cons
No feather duster, dust not sealed, cardboard box, not tin as advertised.

Use

Massage, tantalize and tease your significant other with this incredible gift set. A little something for everyone and an excellent way to introduce kama sutra to a 'virgin.' Everything is in full sized products, so you're not left with tiny bottles with one or two applications.

With five different products, there's no sense in going through them all in one night. This kit will provide excitement for you and your significant other, for many nights to come.

Bonus: Although it's stated that this comes in a tin box, it's actually cardboard. HOWEVER it is an excellent size, so you can easily store a few toys, condoms, lubes in this box along with the products it comes with.

Be aware some of the main ingredients include glycerin, sucrose, alcohol and glucose. So unless you want to risk it, keep these away from the genitals, as to avoid irritation and infection. (as well as incompatibilities with condoms).

Since the ingredients aren't listed on Eden, I'll break my rule and list them off.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Oil of love: Runny, but the bottle is equipped with a plug in the neck to keep the oil from rushing out. Thank goodness for that. I'd hate having to clean up oil as most of the time it's staining.

Vanilla creme body: This is a thick body lotion/cream. It absorbs very nicely into the skin. Leaving you feeling refreshed and moisturized.

spearmint pleasure balm stimulating gel: Thick and sticky, requires some mild pressure on the bottle to get it out.

Sweet almond massage oil: Runny, but thankfully this is in a squeeze bottle, so spills are minimized.

Sweet honeysuckle honey dust: Fine powder, it's base is cornstarch.

Taste / Aroma

In terms of flavor and aroma, every product in this line up is different.

Oil of Love: Honestly I could NOT figure out what this was suppose to smell/taste like. It's not bad in either aspect, it's just one of those I could not put my finger on either. Upon a little research it's suppose to be a combination of chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon.

Vanilla body souffle: This is honestly my favorite out of the entire kit. Smells vary similar to freshly baked cake, or even the cake batter itself. Flavored as such, it's not overwhelming.

Spearmint pleasure balm: My absolute least favorite. Aroma wise this is very nice, perhaps a bit strong, but still nice. The flavor however, is very over powering. Which we could get over if it didn't leave a horrid aftertaste that lasted past tooth brushing. Use very sparingly.

Sweet almond massage oil: Smells just like one would expect, sweetened almonds. I'm not a huge fan of almonds at all, but I found this to be quite pleasant in terms of scent. I'd put this right behind the vanilla body souffle in terms of pleasure in aroma and taste.

Sweet honeysuckle honey dust: This has a very light floral scent to it. I wouldn't have necessarily thought honeysuckle unless I was told though. Due to lacking in ability to apply this, and the sketchy packaging, we did not taste this.

Performance

Three of the five provided products met or exceeded my expectations.

Oil of Love vs. Almond oil.

Both preformed very nicely. However if we had to pick one it would likely be the oil of love. The scent was more appealing, and offered the warming sensations and flavors that the almond oil just could not provide. The downside however was it did seem to get slightly sticky if over used. We did not have this issue with the almond oil.

Spearmint pleasure balm:

Forget it, I wasn't even sure what this was suppose to do other than add flavor with a horrible after taste. We got no added 'cooling' pleasure that some people state. For us it was just a sticky, yucky mess.

Sweet honeysuckle honey powder:

Would have preformed better if we had a way to properly apply this. Coupled with the lack of applicator and the bag being improperly sealed, we skipped using this.

Vanilla body souffle:

Thick and rich, this really moisturizes! I have issues with a lot of lotions where after their applied, it leaves a 'watered down' type feeling. This doesn't do that, it leaves the skin soft and silky, and too yummy smelling NOT to go in for a taste.

Packaging

My only problem with the packaging is it is advertised as being a TIN box. Alas, it is just decorated cardboard. Mild disappointment.

All five items came individually bagged, and protected within the decorative box by shaved/decoration cardboard.

People may have an issue with the dust. As it comes in a nice sachet type bag, but the powder itself is contained in a basic plastic bag that is only sealed with a twist tie.

Each individual product has it's product description/uses labeled, (honey dust the exception) along with a description slip tucked within the box.

Experience

I really wish I could rate this product higher. But with the missing feather duster, the unsecured honeysuckle dust, and the false advertising of the 'tin' box. (Cardboard, it's the new tin! Learn something new everyday) It's hard to really *love* this gift set.

I wonder if your duster was just left out or if they don't put them in the kits at all? That's a big let down. I thought the kit looked nice but I would pass on it now after reading about it. Thanks for the detailed review.

I'm with Zombirella - I'd pass considering the product was misrepresented. I'd actually let JR know so that they could change the product page. Love the details in your review though!
