Flower Powder?

While a bit on the pricey side, this lotion does do a pretty good job of leaving all but the most parched skin feeling soft and smooth and moisturized. The scent is strong at first, but not overwhelmingly so, and fades over time. If you know that you like the scent, you'll love this lotion.

So what is it, and what does it do?

This is a whipped body lotion from Principessa. A whipped lotion, from my research, is usually light and fluffy. This is still light, but not so fluffy. It moisturizes nicely, and doesn't leave you feeling greasy or gross.

So what does the packaging look like?

It's a large 8.5 ounce bottle in Principessa's signature light pink. It's completely discreet and you can easily leave it out and nobody will think it came from a sex shop at all. The front tells you that it's a whipped body lotion, and the back has a few blurbs and a list of the ingredients.

Ok, what are the ingredients?

Aqua (Water), Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Dimethicone, Parfum, Sodium Polyacrylate, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylgycerin, Hexylene Glycol, CI 17200, Benzophenone-3, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E). It's paraben and sulfate free, which is nice as well.

Neat! What does it smell like?

The product page says that this has the Belloccia scent, which has been described as seductively sweet, with top notes of peach and vanilla flower, middle notes of night blooming jasmine and ylang ylang, and bottom notes of sandalwood and warm amber. I wouldn't describe it quite as seductively sweet, but I enjoy it all the same. To me, it's got a powdery floral scent and reminds me a lot of the powder we used to put on the carpet to freshen them up. It's easy to smell on the skin when you first put it on, but becomes more subtle as time goes on.

What does it look like, and how well does it work?

It comes out of the bottle very nicely and has a smooth, creamy consistency. It isn't what I would call "whipped," although I'm picturing something more like a souffle. I only needed a pea size amount for my hands, and it smoothed around nicely and didn't feel super lotiony after just a few moments. Surprisingly, I only needed about a pea and a half sized amount to get most of one of my legs. I was able to get my entire body with just over a quarter sized amount of lotion, which is pretty awesome. As far as how well it worked, I was pleasantly surprised. I've gotten spoiled by the oil I usually use after a shower and I usually expect to have some dry patches when I use something else, but this got me moisturized and left me with no dry patches. It also didn't leave me feeling like I had just slathered on a ton of lotion, aside from the whole not having dry skin anymore thing. The scent lasted most of the night, and was still faintly there the next day.

Anything else I need to know?

If you like floral powdery scents, you'll like this stuff. And if you don't need super deep moisturizing, you'll probably like it too.

Sweet, got any pictures?

Sure! Here's a closeup, and it upside down to show how well it stays in place.

Experience
I got this lotion in a smaller container as part of a kit, but ended up purchasing the larger full size bottle as well. I really do like the scent that much. The bottle was a lot bigger than I was expecting it to be when it showed up. I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting, but I remember taking it out of the package and thinking "wow, that's big!"

I really have nothing bad to say about it as a product except that it's a bit pricey. But other than that, if you know you like the scent, you'll probably like this as well.
