Mary Zilba soy candle by Principessa Beauty - review by Troubleinmyarms

This is a beautiful candle to look at. It is meant to perfume the area and as the soft wax melts, it leave a pool of "oil" that can be used for a nice warm, massage oil. It does perfume the area and the melting wax can be used for a relaxing, sexy massage for your partner. So, it those are your criteria, you have hit the jackpot. BUT...

I just don't like the scent. It is rather "spicy" and makes my nose itch. It does feel good on the skin and makes gliding your hands around your partner an easy and pleasureable thing to do. It does not leave behind any greasy film and in fact, it does seem to moisturize the skin--your hands and your partner's body. It is a very, very pale seaglass green color candle.

It is packaged in a classy clear,round glass container, which arrives inside a classy plain white gift type box that simply says, "Mary Zilba" on it. Mary Zilba is a cast member from one of the "Real Housewives of..." show. She has come out with a line of scents and cosmetics, some of which are carried here on EF.

Price-wise, it is reasonable at $28. It is soy based so that should make it easy on most folks--it should not stimulate an allergic response. I do not know why it makes my nose itch because I am not usually sensative to scents, oils, massage candles and creams. This is high quality, I just don't like the scent.

The only other thing I would mention is that I ordered this when the weather was pretty warm and in transit it melted a bit and stained the gift box. The candle quality was unaffected, but if this was a gift, you would have wanted to transfer it to a different box.

I don't like this. The scent makes my nose itch and it doesn't perfume the room (which I think is a good thing!).
