I Know You Just Wanna Get Close and Personal With My Armpits

This pheromone deodorant, while easy to roll on, isn't the greatest. As a deodorizer, it will work as long as you aren't doing anything intense and sweaty. As a female attractant, it does not work at all. It did not effect the mood of myself or those around me at all. This is fragrance free, which leaves me feeling paranoid about smelling bad.

Use

System JO's women to women pheromone deodorant is meant to attract women to a female wearer. The deodorant is applied through a roller-ball topped bottle. It can be used as a daily deodorant or occasionally when going out somewhere that you are hoping to attract a woman. It's unscented. The ingredient list, which I will discuss later, is pretty small and doesn't contain any ingredients that may be irritating to skin.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Since this is applied through a roller-ball top, the deodorant is pretty thin. It rubs on very easily once the roller-ball is wet. I had to roll it around a few times at first to get it covered in deodorant. It goes on clear and doesn't leave any white marks on skin or clothing. It does feel a bit sticky under my arms at first, but that goes away as the deodorant dries. Even though this stuff feels kind of runny, it doesn't drip or run all over skin or clothing. It just coats skin in a thin layer. Because this is a liquid, it can feel pretty cold against warm skin fresh out of the shower.

Taste / Aroma

I didn't notice any scent to this deodorant at all, though my fiance said it has a very slight bad smell to him. I would have preferred a scented deodorant, maybe something simple and floral. This is not meant to be ingested, so I did not taste it.
    • No smell

Performance

I applied some of this deodorant right after I dried off from a shower. I left it on all day through work and then through working out. As far as I know it stayed on, but that's difficult to judge since it's unscented. It washed off just fine in the shower the next day.

I'd have to say, there's not really anything I like about this deodorant. It has no scent to it and doesn't actually seem to have any pheromones in it. The bottle's label is bright red and looks like it would work fine on a bottle of cheap lube, too.
    • Long lasting
    • Needs to be washed off with soap and water

Packaging

System JO's pheromone deodorant is packaged in a plastic tube with a screw-top lid. The tube measures 5 inches from top to bottom and 5 inches around. Underneath the lid is the roller-ball applicator. This needs to be rolled a few times at first to get the deodorant to cover the ball, allowing for application. The lid is easy to screw on and off. The roller-ball does not allow any deodorant to leak out, even if the bottle is tipped on its side. The bottle contains 2.5 ounces, or 75 ml, of deodorant. Considering how small of an amount is used to apply this under the arms, this should last quite a while.

The label isn't really attractive looking or discreet. The front states that this is a pheromone deodorant meant to attract women to female wearers. Directions on the back state to shake this well before using, and to apply it only to the underarms. The ingredient list is located on the side, right next to the UPC. The label is all a flat bright red with a variety of fonts describing the product. Anyone looking at it will be able to quickly identify that this is used to attract women. The packaging would be fine for travel, but it isn't really great looking to give as a gift.

Ingredients:

Zinc Ricinoleate, Xanthan Gum, Chamomile Extract, Potassium Alum, Phenoxyethanol, Androstenol, Alcohol Denat, Aqua (Purified Water)

When I looked up the ingredients, most seemed common in deodorants and beauty products. There is some evidence that zinc ricinoleate may cause toxicity in the immune system and skin. Phenoxyethanol can be toxic or harmful if it gets in or around the mouth. Androstenol is a pheromone. It's given off by our bodies in sweat, which helps others to perceive us as healthy, fit, and ready for reproduction. I couldn't find any information on any of the ingredients causing allergic reactions, but it is still best to do a small spot test before trying new products. As you can see, this doesn't contain any fragrances. The chamomile does not actually aid the scent of the deodorant at all.
    • Does not leak
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Recyclable

Experience

I'm not particularly interested in attracting women, but I was interested in how this deodorant worked, so I decided to give it a try. It was easy to apply and went on clear, but I didn't care for the roller-ball. I prefer deodorant sticks. I also didn't like how this is unscented. It made me pretty paranoid about smelling bad while working out. After I worked out for about an hour, including lifting weights and some cardio work, I did stink a bit. It wasn't as bad as when I forget to wear deodorant all together, but it was noticeable. This isn't an antiperspirant and deodorant rolled into one, it's specifically a deodorant. Antiperspirants work to control the amount of sweat your body creates. This just kind of covers up any body odor from sweating, but since it's fragrance free, it doesn't do a good job. It also may sweat off pretty quickly, since there's nothing helping to control sweat.

I did not notice the pheromones working at all, either on myself or those around me. I wasn't really expecting people to come running because of the pheromones, but there was absolutely no reaction. I didn't feel any more confident or attractive by wearing this deodorant. I honestly don't see how this deodorant can be specifically formulated to attract women to a woman, since the pheromone in it is given off by both men and women and can attract anyone.
Follow-up commentary
This stuff is still kind of just sitting around. I haven't used it at all since my original review. Lately I have been sick and get random hot flashes where I get kind of sweaty, and the lack of scent and antiperspirants in this make me not trust it at all.
