Massage cream - oil discontinued by Kama Sutra - review by tantric

I have tried many of the KamaSutra line of products and most live up to the hype and the expense. Sadly it was not so with the Massage Cream. Once again KamaSutra has produced a seductively presented product in their signature olive green and black packaging with floral motifs. The Massage Cream is contained in a round, 7oz canister, with a screw top lid. Just as you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, you can’t judge a product by its package.

I chose the Tangerines and Cream flavor. When my girlfriend and I decided to try it out I thought we would have some fun foreplay, giving each other a sensual massage. When I inspected the ingredients, I found out that the Massage Cream contained wheat. I am gluten intolerant so this meant I wouldn’t be tasting the product, this was strike one. We decided to go forward with the sensual massage anyway, with me receiving all the oral action and her getting a good erotic massage out of it.

I opened up the cream to find it did have a wonderful smell with a subtle note of tangerines and cream. It also had a bit of a lotion like smell that was detectable underneath the initial scent. I scooped out a handful from the jar and it was indeed very creamy and dense, with no hint of grittiness. I began working the cream into my girlfriends back and after a very short time it began to become like a paste. I lathered the rest of her body down with cream and then set to work on the massage. The more I rubbed, the worse it got. Soon it was rolling up into little gummy balls. This was not attractive and felt like rubbing someone with little pellets of rubber cement. This was strike two. My girlfriend did not care for this sensation and expressed her desire to have the massage end. We then decided to see if it would be any different for my turn. Same thing, any area she focused rubbing on, it quickly dried up into a tacky mess. We both found this to be disappointing and ended that session with a rinse down and some good old fashioned sex, so much for erotic romance.

On another occasion we decided to give it one more try. This time we were going to have her apply it to my cock and massage and stroke it between rounds of oral. This worked better and prevented the gummy mess. It still didn’t have enough of a lotion like property to allow for a really good stroking before it dried past the point of lubricating. My girlfriend said she found the taste to be bearable but nothing great. She said it had an almost lotion like taste that lingered after the initial tangerine and cream flavor. This was strike three and it was out.

We never thought of using this with any toys, as it was meant to be a Massage Cream for the body. I can’t comment on what may or may not work in this department. One word of caution: if it has a lot of wheat germ oil it may not be compatible with anything that can be damaged by oil, such as latex and jelly.

Clean-up involved a shower, except when my girlfriend was able to suck it all off of me. It was not something either one of us wanted to leave on our skin for any of its purposed benefits.
