Use a quarter size amount when you shower to remove chemicals, dirt and unwanted oils while still leaving behind the natural oils your hair needs to stay healthy. This luxury Italian inspired shampoo is ideal for those who have normal to dry damaged hair to help restore and revitalize each strand.

The shampoo is specifically formulated to help replenish hair and restore health and shine with the Soy, Silk, wheat and Oat proteins.

With the lovely powdery scent, this Shampoo is targeted more towards the female customers, though can be used by anyone. It is even gentle enough to be used for young adults and even pre-teens. For the full experience, I would suggest following up with the matching Principessa Beauty Conditioner.

The texture is a bit different than any ordinary shampoo. It is slightly thicker than the average, but not too thick. I find a lot of shampoos to be quite runny, but that is not the case here. It is a lot like a thick shower gel, but creamy with a white foggy glow to it.

The snap top lid makes it very easy to pour. Simply pop open the lid, even with one hand, and squeeze the ideal amount in your hands and massage through your hair. It does not run easily across my hand which makes loosing some to the shower floor less likely.

Slightly oily to the touch, this product is not very sticky at all. I can poke a drop of it with my finger and it does not create a ewey gooey string from the product to my finger tip.

I am not so much up for tasting shampoo since that is not its purpose. However, you can indeed smell it. Reading some reviews, I was iffy about purchasing because I am not so fond of "old lady perfume" as my mom would say. But when I did receive this product, I was not disappointed.

To me, it more smells of baby powder than a garden or perfume. Actually, it smells just like baby powder to me. While using the shampoo, you can for sure smell the powdery scent and continue to a little after you wash it out. The scent does fade a good bit after. After you have dried your hair, you will have to sniff the hair itself to get a small scent of the shampoo.

Now here is where it gets me. I loved the look and smell of the shampoo and loved the idea of it. The idea of using the lovely pink Italian inspired shampoo made me feel pretty and I could not wait to try it. However, when I did, I did not feel quite as pretty. I felt disappointed even.

It says to use about a quarter sized amount to wash my hair. Having a bob now and not long hair like I used to, I figured that would be plenty. Turns out I needed two quarter sized amounts, and it still barely felt like it was doing anything. It was indeed cleaning my hair since after it did not feel oily. But I for one prefer to feel my hair getting cleaned instead of just assuming it was clean. I need a shampoo that will lather. This one? It does not really lather at all. I just had to assume all my hair was covered and cleaned.

It does rinse out very easily though and even with just the shampoo I could feel my hair becoming softer. The scent was in no way over powering and my hair did feel clean when I was done drying it.

If it lathered more and would not require more than suggested, I would see this as a very big hit for me.
