Minty Cool For Your Lips

The minty breath freshening lip balm is gloss to make your lips minty fresh. It is not an oral hygiene product, so it won't really freshen your breath, but it might help in covering up you bad breath by making you lips smell minty. There is a minimal amount of ingredients in this gloss, but it does absorb quickly. Overall this lip balm is a great pick for a quick use.

Use

Minty breath freshening lip balm goes on your lips and leaves them feeling minty fresh. This is a petroleum base lip balm that will help moisturize your lips and make the feel minty cool. This is not literally going to freshen your breath, since it is not an oral hygiene product, but it will help hide the death breath that passes out of your mouth with the minty freshness of your lips. This lip balm is suitable for everyday use.

You should be sure to check out my ingredients list below and avoid this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

When you open the container you can see the thick blue lip balm. (Note that it isn't pink like the product page.) This is a a petroleum base lip balm, so it is oily and slick feeling. It rubs on in a thin layer that is quickly absorbed, but leaves behind the minty cool feeling. This is not sticky at all. This is an ideal short term lip gloss.

Taste / Aroma

The smell is like Double Mint gum. And once you apply it to your lips it feels like you rubbed a mint on your lips. It leaves behind this minty cool feeling; that is really nice. The taste is the same, minty cool. It is not an overwhelming mint flavor, but it is present.

Performance

This gloss will not last long, but still leaves the coolness feeling after it is fully absorb. I have noticed this lip balm is absorbed with 30 minutes. This lip balm is best for short term wear, otherwise will will constantly be applying it. I like the coolness feeling the most, so I deal with constantly reapplying it. Should you want to remove this lip gloss you are going to need a wet rag to remove the mint smell, taste, and feeling. This gloss is blue in the container, but goes on clear.

Packaging

This lip balm comes in a 1/3 oz white container with a black twist off lid. There is a peel off sticker on the top marking the product and there is one on the bottom labeling the ingredients.

Special Features

Ingredients Break Down

Petrolatum- a semisolid hydrocarbon from petroleum.

Cotton Seed Oil- extracted from seeds off a cotton plant and is used to condition.

Flavoring- What is added to the product to give flavor or scent. In this case it is Mint.
Follow-up commentary
This lip balm is still pretty blah! I have gifted it to my niece, so she can play dress up with it. I couldn't use it for actual gloss.

So this is actually blue, not pink? Not that it matters but the pictures on EF are sometimes misleading. Lol. If it smells like Double Mint gum, I'm sure I'd like it. Maybe I'll get this and just, I don't know, apply it a lot.

Great review, I'm really glad I didn't end up getting this in the sale. Strong smells like that close to my nose usually make me sick. Also I would expect balms to last more than a short term. Thanks

I like using this one with a lip brush. I put it on before I put on more drying lipstick and then over the top for a bit of shine. By itself it just kinda disappears on ya.
