Moisturizer discontinued

Natural and long lasting, but not for all skin types...

I tried this for a week. I had wanted to use it for two weeks, but ended up breaking out. I recorded my experience in my journal, then transferred it here to share for this review.

extremely useful review
I did this review a little differently and hope it works out. More like a skin journal

April 4th
I used Sensuous Beauty's Hemp Facial Cream as step three of my beauty regimen. It came in a lovely glass container without a box (1.25 ounces). The labeling is clear and easy to read. I opened it up, and there was a light, but unpleasant smell. The cream is light pea color and has a creamy texture that is slightly soupy. The container seals tightly and will not unscrew or leak. I think given it's an all natural product that the color may vary and change over time. I am using this as part of the three step beauty regimen a few hours before bed. Step one includes a homemade honey, sugar, and almond oil scrub used on my face, then rinsed. Next I apply witch hazel toner, let it dry, and then apply this facial cream. The smell wasn’t pleasant, but since I used very little of it (half pea sized), it was light and nearly nonexistent. It went on smoothly, but it left a greasy texture. It did not seem to absorb into my skin for a good hour. My skin looked hydrated, not oily, and rosy.

April 5th
I noticed that the facial cream did absorb into my skin before bed and remained greasy in the oiler parts of my face, at the base of nose around the nostrils, crease of my chin, and around my eyes. I put it on tonight, but I avoided these trouble spots as the third step of my nighttime routine.

April 6
I used Hemp Facial Cream in my nighttime routine, and I woke up with a oily face. I had to exfoliate and use a drying cleanser in the morning to correct the feeling. My face is moisturized and firm, and feels light to the touch.

April 7th
My face is starting to break out. I was going to try this for two full weeks, but I will only continue this skin diary for three more days for the full benefit without risking too much of a breakout.

April 8th
My face is horribly broken out, but there is no irritation, and no allergic reaction. The product is safe for sensitive skin, but not for combination or oily skin.

April 9th
I am cutting back, and I am using it only on my neck and hands.

April 10th
I used the cream on my hands and neck for the last two nights. It absorbs well and doesn’t leave an unattractive smell.

April 11
The experiment is over. I think this is a good product, and I recommended it for those who are environmentally concerned and those who have dry skin. The product will last a very long time.

Base: Oil.

Ingredients: organic hemp oil, almond oil, distilled water, organic aloe vera gel, beeswax, citrus seed extract, vitamin E oil, shea butter, vegetable glycerine and pure essential oils of lavender, ylang ylang, rose geranium and sandalwood.
Follow-up commentary
This did not stain any of my clothing. I did a blot test, and it came out with a single wash - no stain prep. My skin has since recovered, and I haven't had a break out since. I use this on my hands and elbows, and it works great on dry patches.
