Not So Good.... Not so Bad....

Not So Bad... It’s sort of like deciding over a cup of coffee with cream for a couple of bucks, or a Carmel Macchiato for few more dollars. You know the macchiato tastes so good, but for a couple of bucks you can get a coffee that will satisfy your craving. Well there are many massage creams out there. In addition, most of them do the job. However, if you were looking for a treat… the macchiato of massage creams, this would be a great choice.

Not So Good... When I opened the shipping box and took out the bubble wrap, I found the product box to be dirty. I am not talking about a little dusty. I mean dirty. It looked like it had sat in an open box on the top rack of a warehouse for a year or so and collected all the dirt and dust that go along with that environment. With a light wipe of a soft cloth it cleaned right up. It did not hurt the product at all, but it was a terrible first impression.

Not So Bad... Once I opened the box and looked at the product, I did like its appearance. Clean and neat. I liked the fact that there was a tamper resistant seal over the opening. The flip top makes it easy to dispense.

Not So Good... It takes a lot of this product to actually give a massage. To give a good body massage you will use a good third to half of the bottle. At a price of over twenty dollars per bottle, it costs anywhere from seven to ten dollars a massage.

Not So Bad... Although it does take a lot for the massage, the product itself is great. Not greasy at all, in fact after the massage your skin is so soft and moisturized. No showers afterward, no stained sheets, and no funky feeling that some of the oily lotions cause. The fact that it is water based, not oil based, I am sure helps. It will not spill all over as it is a cream. The smell is very pleasant. You would not for one second think anything about going out in public with the scent of this cream on you. It smells very very nice. Not too strong or overpowering, and yet very present and pleasant. Although a bit costly, it makes a great daily body lotion.

Not So Good... If you’re an ingredients person, keep the box. All the ingredients are prominently displayed on the box. However there is nothing on the bottle. Why does that matter? Well some people are allergic to certain chemicals. If you have pulled this out of the box and taken it with you to use then are asked, what is in it? You have no answer, as you will not know. For monogamous couples as we are, that will most likely be of little problem. However, it might be if your not.
Follow-up commentary
Still a good product, but it does take a bit to cover the areas that need to be massaged. I still think that it is one of the better lotions.

Is this a pump type bottle?
  • Contributor: Butterkups
No it's not a pump. It is a flip top that you squeeze out. I may have over spoken the amount a little bit. It probably only takes about a quarter of the bottle... but it is still a bit. But it is nice.
