Erotic massage oil organica - oil discontinued by Shunga Erotic Art - review by Lil

I usually find Shunga products to be of great quality and with excellent performance. This erotic massage oil is no exception to that. It's a super light and relaxing oil with little to no drawbacks. It happens to be made in Canada, as expressed on the bottle, and the ingredients list leaves me feeling clean and safe.
It is also certified organic.

As listed on the bottle: Cold pressed sunflower oil (Helianthus Annuus Seed oil), Rapeseed Oil (Brasica Campastria Seed Oil), Grape Seed Oil (Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil), Sesame Oil (Sesamum Indicum Oil), Avocado Oil (Persea Gratissima Oil), Natural Vitamin E (Tocopherol), Flavor (Aroma).
Though this isn't designed to be an edible oil, due to the ingredients, it seems safe for ingestion in small amounts. Although it's a lot of vegetable oil and I would keep that away from the vaginal area, especially if you're extra sensitive or prone to infections.

The bottle itself is a plastic, 8 fl oz. container with a standard black, click-top cap. It gets a little oily and messy around the neck of the bottle and cap, but a little oozing is to be expected. However, I haven't had any major catastrophes with spilling the whole bottle over in my drawer or something, which is usually pretty typical for me. So I'm satisfied and content with the packaging. It has the usual Shunga Japanese style erotic print on the label, except the characters are fully clothed on this one. One of the other reviewers mentioned it's discreet looking, but I feel with the words erotic printed ALL over the label, it's not exactly something I'd leave lying around when my parents are around. But I suppose that's up to everyone's discretion, I'm a little conservative about those things around my family.

The flavor is green tea and citrus, which is very light and inoffensive. I feel the citrus/orange smell is much stronger than the green tea aspect. Although the overall smell is not overwhelmingly strong, nor is it sickly sweet. Personally, I'm not in love with the smell. I prefer things that are muskier, but I don't find anything to dislike about it. My boyfriend hasn't complained either, and he's usually much pickier than I am about scents.

The oil itself is a light, golden honey color and it's relatively thin, about the consistency of baby oil. It spreads nicely and rubs in smoothly and evenly. And as others have said, it warms quickly when applied to the skin. I feel that it goes a long way too, a little bit on my hands, and I can do my whole leg. I actually feel it is better used sparingly because when you use just a little it soaks into your skin and moisturizes nicely. On the flip side, if you use too much it seems hard to get it to absorb and then it just sits there on your skin, making you feel sticky and oily, like you need a shower after. So be careful, don't apply too liberally, and you'll have a great experience, and it will go further, too.
