Relaxing, the lemongrass and coconut scented foaming bath from Intimate Organics is just what you need to enjoy a deliciously scented, organic bubble bath. You will leave your bath soft, moisturized, and drenched in this refreshing combination of scents. To top that off, you can rest easy knowing you used a paraben-free, naturally derived, pure vegan product. The eight ounce bottle is attractively designed and very informative about the ingredients.

The scent of the lemongrass and coconut is addicting from the first whiff when opening the product. To use, pour a dime sized amount on a cloth or poof, or pour a cap sized portion into the running water. More of the lemon scent seeps through if this is used as a body wash and is rubbed on the skin or when the rushing water from the faucet is creating the foam. As a body wash the foaming bath is wonderful. It creates a lot of foam on the bath poof, and leaves the skin feeling clean and smooth. As a bubble bath the bubbles last about five minutes, and can be reactivated with motion or adding more water. The scent stays in the water through out the entire bath and on the skin afterward. Lotions and other products tend to cover up the scent left on the skin.

In this, Intimate Organics chose to create a product that is functional and that is safe for you and your partner to use. There are no parabens, which can be absorbed by the skin and mimic the hormone estrogen, and bond to its receptors, possibly encouraging the development of breast cancer. The wetting agent DEA is replaced by cocamide DEA, which is much safer to use. DEA is dangerous, and according to Intimate Organics "DEA can react with other ingredients in the cosmetic formula to form an extremely potent carcinogen called nitrosodiethanolamine (NDEA). NDEA is readily absorbed through the skin and has been linked with stomach, esophagus, liver and bladder cancers.". Their products are also glycerin free and vagina friendly.

All of the extracts used in this foaming bath are naturally derived and are certified organic. The ones used in Relaxing are Aloe, Goji Berry, and Lemon Grass. The other aromatherapy scents in the Organic Spa line are Coco Bean and Goji Berry and Fresh Orange Wild Ginger. All of them use extracts that are certified organic by USDA Organic.
Experience
This is an overall great product. Just a little of this light yellow liquid will make bath time blissful. It performs just as well as any good quality bath product. It is thicker than most bubble bath products, but a little thinner than most shower gels. The consistency is great for either use. The scent is pleasing, and the fragrance lingers in the bathroom after it is used. With the safer ingredients, this is a great choice for your sensual baths.

I just reviewed the Relaxing massage balm from this same line of products--Intimate Organics gets a 5-star rating from me as well! Would you say that this foaming bath is safe even for women with sensitive vaginas? I know a few ladies who love baths but can't take them because the bubble baths irritate their skin.

With the soothing qualities of aloe..and being glycerin and paraben free Iw oudl say so. I have used it everyday since Friday with no irritation at all.

It is really similar in scent to coconot lime verbena or whatever it is called from Bath and Body Works.
