There are a few pieces to this kit, Oil of Love massage oil, Edible Honey Dust, Love Liquid lubricant, and a feather applicator for the honey dust. Each piece is for something different. The massage oil is for use when giving a massage, it reduces friction between the hands of the person massaging and the skin of the person receiving the massage. The lubricant is a friction reducer but of a different sort, meant to supplement the natural lubrication your body produces. The honey dust and feather applicator are for sensual play.

Oil of Love massage oil: About the consistency of most olive oils. It retains this consistency for quite some time. Unless the skin is very dry, a small amount of this stuff should do.

Liquid Love lubricant: Water-based, about the same consistency as the Oil of Love. If using with a toy, it tends to develop a slightly sticky texture. But as far as we noticed, this didn't happen when not using a toy.

Honey Dust: Powdered sugar. The same feel as the lighter powdered sugars or fine dust.

Oil of Love massage oil: The smell vaguely reminds me of Christmas potpourri, a light almost frankincense smell with a chocolaty undertone. Not a very strong scent which is a good thing. If it was stronger, then it'd be overwhelming.

Liquid Love lubricant: Smells a little like soap. The scent is strong when you first put it on, but it dissipates quickly. It is not unpleasant, but it is a little strong at first, and this might put some people off.

Honey Dust: These is no real smell, but the flavor is sweet. It has a slight honey flavor but not as strong as we expected. It tastes more like raw sugar. Again, not a strong flavor so one won't get sick of it quickly.

Oil of Love massage oil: Stays wet for a good length of time, and dries cleanly. It doesn't leave a residue which means you won't be booking it for the shower to clean up afterward.

Liquid Love lubricant: Water-based and not sticky at all. Wiping it off should be sufficient, but otherwise it can be rinsed off the body with warm water.

Honey Dust: If not licked off then soap and water is necessary to get it off the skin completely. If it's licked off, it doesn't leave residue.

The whole kit came in a small cardboard box with designs on the outside. The space not occupied by the kit items is packed with scented, shredded brown paper. We have said paper in a small glass dish on our dresser, lightly scenting the air in our room. It is better than a candle. A small card came with the kit that briefly describes what's in the kit and lists the contact information for the KamaSutra company.

This kit is great for those nights when the kids are out of the house and you have time to spend relaxing and enjoying each other. Time to enjoy a nice long back rub and teasing each other with the honey dust. This stuff isn't really good when rushed through. We like this when we can have a nice romantic couple of hours together.
