Rub a dub dub...there's suds in my tub!!!

When you want to express your appreciation and/or love but don't have the words or much cash, this is perfect for those occassions. It is a very nice touch for the person who has everything, needs nothing but appreciates your thoughtfulness. This is a gift that is perfect for many times, you just have to mesh with what is available from the company because there is no custom or fill in the blank options available.

Use

This is a novel idea and certainly handy for those of us who have a difficult time expressing our appreciation. "Say it with Suds" is a 10 ounce plastic bottle of bubble bath/shower gel in seven fragrances. Each fragrance has in its title an expression of thanks to a variety (seven, to coordinate with the number of scents) of people in your life. They are: best hostess; greatest Dad; perfect roommate; best mom, beautiful bride; best bridesmaid and simply happy birthday.

The use of these is actually two-fold. First, as previously stated, these are given as an expression of appreciation to anyone in our life who fits the categories available. Second, they are bubbly-icious bubble baths and bubbly-icious bathing gels. The company states that these are all natural products, contain shea nut oils and are vegan formulated. As with all vegan products, these are NEVER tested on animals. I do not have any health issues or concerns but the mention of nut oils makes me wonder if anyone who has a nut allergy should stear clear of these. I have a young nephew who has a severe nut allergy and can not be anywhere near peanut butter so I would not ever consider these as a gift for any member of his immediate family. Just a precaution, but worthy of a mention.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

These are the consistancy of your average shampoo. It flows easily and does not clog the dispenser, which is a screw on cap with a standard flip top. It is very easy to control the amount of gel that you want to use. It has a very pleasant feel to it. It is nice and light, not sticky, tacky or gummy at all.

Taste / Aroma

I received the "hostess" variety so all of my comments relate to that product. I could not find any information about the other versions, which is a negative for me. The hostess scent is a mix of citrus and very, very mild florals but I would like to know what all the types are before I purchase more. The scent is pleasant and not at all overpowering so if you want to wear your favorite cologne after bathing it would not compete. I always think of this when I purchase any bathing products because I like to wear scents. This would be a nice bedtime product to use because it would leave you nicely scented but not strong enough to annoy you or your partner while trying to sleep.

Performance

This product does the job it is intented for! It makes lots of bubbles with very little product, so it is economical as well as practical. Since it is both a bubble bath and a body gel, you are getting clean while having a nice, relaxing soak in the tub. Nice--two for the price of one. A twofer is alway a good thing.

If you come home aftr a very physical, dirty work out, you probably want to shower before taking a tub soak. This product works for showers also. I use one of those poufy things to shower because I always prefer liquid soap to bar soap. Remember, this is both bubble bath and body cleanser and is perfect for a shower.

What can I say? After using this several times for baths and showers, I always felt clean, nicely scented and my skin was very smooth (an added bonus!).
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Allergy concerns (nuts?)
    • Feels natural

Ah! So glad to have seen your review! Thank you so much for sharing. I've been looking at these soaps forever, but never do buy them because I can't tell how they'd smell or be. I actually adore citrusy scents, so I'd like this! Thanks a bunch for all the information you gave. I've wanted to get the dad one for my dad, but worry about the smell. Lol. Could always go with this one, I suppose. I know I'd love it for its scent.
