Simply sensual shave creme - shaving gel by Classic Erotica - review by arewehavingfun?

This is a pump type shaving cream, is a wonderfully effective moisturizing, protective and moisturizing product. The pump is not the usual aeresol type containter most shaving creams are packaged in, but tather the type in most hand lotion dipaensers or liquid soap dispensers.

I simply pump a few times into my hand, apply to one leg, moisten my hands with water and spread the cream around. It dispenses in a very thick, opaque white form but when spread on the leg with a bit of water, it becomes crystal clear and almost invisible. If you are used to traditional foamy shaving cream, you will be surprised and perhaps disappointed. Personally, I prefer this because I did not have to rinse my shaver as often as with the foamy stuff.

Simply Sensual is a company that uses natural products and does not animal testing. Although none of the listed ingredients scream "allergy spoiler", it is always prudent to do testing on your skin if you are sensative to many products. I myself am not sensative and did not have any reaction.

The cream softens the hair, protects the skin and mades it easier to safely glide a razor across your skin. I often scrape my skin and bleed along the bone running down the front of the leg. I was pleasantly surprised when I did not draw a drop of blood the 1st (and following) times I used this product. There was no stingy feeling or any redness when I was done.

I would recommend this product for under your arms, your crotch and your legs. As a woman, I am hesitent about using this on the face since it is not specifically mentioned by this company. It may be fine, but I do not have facial hair and wouldn't recommend women with facial are to use this except with careful thoughts and research about the company and this product line.

This is dispensed from the pump as a thick cream--similar to many hand creams. It mixes well with a bit of water and spreads exactly where you want it ot be. It is not runny at all. When you get to the bottom of the dispenscer, ZI found it easy to add a little water, shake and continue using. By adding water at the very end, you will waste much less product--something we are all concerned with these days.

Naturally, we did not sample this product by tasting. The aroma is light and plelasant. I chose the pomagranate/;ginger scent and was happy with my choice. It is a light ginger and a more powerful citrus scent. It is very pleaant but is not at all overpowering and you can still use the body scent you your choice. I do not like when I can not use my favorite perfume without smelling the hygeine products that I use for grooming. This scent fades quickly so my perfume is the long lasting star it is meant to be.

This is great stuff. It goes on smoothly--a little bit applied and then moistened with water will go along way. If you find that you have not applied enough to cover the area being shaved, with one hand you can pump a bit more and reapply. When I use this, my skin is smooth for days, soft and not at all scaly like with cheap, drugstore brands; I experience no stinging and when I apply additional lotion after use it feels so good--no burning or sting. The shave is very close and I find that I now only shave twice a week vs almost every day--a winner in my world.

This comes in a 12 ounce lotion pump bottle (plastic and not breakable). It is not an aeresol which is healthy and safer than traditional aeroesol cans that cheaper brands are still being packaged in. It has an identifying label, the ingredients are listed and it states what the product is used for. It has an expensive look and although it is more expensive than many brands, a little goes such a long way that on a per cost use I would say it is equal to cheaper brands.

This can also be purchased as part of a shaving kit which makes it more economical and easy to grab and go (to they gym or on a trip).

The nature of shaving makes it impossible to do without some damage (even invisible damage) to your skin. One of the ingredients is aloe so as you shave you are left with a healing ingredient that heals and soothes the skin. There are 3 scents available. I chose the pomegranate/ginger because I have used this scent in other Simply ]Sensual products and liked it very much. When first dispensed it has a strong citrus scent with a soft ginger afterthought but when applied, during and after use, it leaves behind a barely distinguisable soft sent. It is very pleasant. I would like to try the white lavender scent. The 3rd scent is green tea. I have not used any Simply Sensual green tea products, but when I have used green tea from other vendors, I have not been happy. Obviously, scent is an individual thing so choose wisely based on previous experiences. I wish EF could send out scented cards so we could sample the fragrance before purchasing. That would be up to the manufacturer, but it seems like a ood idea and would probably increase their sales.
