The Astrea 2 thong is a semi-sheer black lace panty that is made of 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex. The thong has a pocket on the bottom of the crotch that the bullet fits into. The panty has a 2" band of lace at the top and can stretch to about 42" at the max. The panty is made for someone who is about a size 6 which is unfortunate for me as my girlfriend is a bit bigger than what the panty is designed for.

The bullet itself is made from a hard plastic that is powered by 2 AAA batteries which can be accessed easily by sliding off the battery compartment door on the back. The bullet is small and discreet; about 1 1/8" wide, 2 5/8" long and 1" deep and can be put into any standard panty. The remote that was included is about 1 1/2" wide, 3 3/4" long and 1/2" deep powered by a small 12v AE23 battery that is about half the size of a regular AAA battery, and which cost about $2 a piece. The battery compartment on the remote is largely unused, as it looks like it can fit 2 AA or AAA batteries which would make this a little better on the cost factor when the time for battery replacement comes along.

The bullet itself is not waterproof. The vibrator in the bullet starts immediately when the button is pressed, but takes about 5-6 seconds to turn off when the button is slid into the off position. The bullet has only one setting at a medium power roughly and is very quiet, but some background noise is suggested to make sure it goes completely unnoticed. The range on the remote is about 10-12 feet

The care instructions for the Astrea 2 panty is that it must be hand washed in cold water and air dried. For the bullet wipe the bullet with a soapy wash cloth, rinse, and dry.
