Liberator wedge conversion kit - liberator shapes by Liberator - review by Acorn

The Liberator Wedge Conversion Kit is a kit that allows you to change your regular Liberator Wedge to a Black Label Liberator Wedge. The Black Label line is the light bondage side of the Liberator shapes lineup. The only real difference is the addition of clips for attaching cuffs to your shapes. Those of you interested in a little kinky play should definitely check this out. Remember that the conversion kit does not include the pillow, so you will have to purchase that separately.

The pillow cover that you get with the conversion kit is made of the same luxurious microfiber that your regular wedge comes with. The only difference is the two clips for attaching the included cuffs. It is extremely soft, but very sturdy. You will never have to worry about chafing or discomfort from rubbing. When my wife and I use the wedge for missionary, she sometimes slides down a little bit, but I can pull her toward me without worrying about scraping her back against rough material. The zipper on the cover is very soft, and doesn't stick out very far, so you won't even notice that it's there. The stitching seems to be very high quality, but a small hole did start to develop in one of the corners of my cover. Besides that one tiny spot, everything else is in great condition.

The other pieces included in the kit are two leopard print cuffs, a leopard print blindfold, a connector (to connect two cuffs together), and two extenders (useful if you don't want to be directly attached to the pillow).

The cuffs are lined with microfiber and are extremely comfortable. You could use these for hours and not leave the slightest mark. The cuffs can be closed with a velcro strap. The "receiving side" of the velcro runs the entire length of the cuff. This is great news for everyone because it means the cuffs can easily accommodate any size wrist or ankle. I really enjoyed using the included connector and extensions. If you use the connector piece, you suddenly have handcuff-style restraints. This is a very fun and comfortable alternative to clipping the cuffs directly to the wedge. Our fuzzy handcuffs will never be used again! The clips are attached very securely to the cuffs, so don't worry about tearing them. The best part about the included extensions was that you could easily adjust the length, giving even more control to the dominant partner.

Just like the cuffs, the blindfold is lined with microfiber and is closed with a velcro strap. I love the microfiber, but the strap was not as comfortable as I was hoping it would be. It rubbed uncomfortably above my ear, but I managed to avoid any more discomfort by making sure that the strap overlapped my ear. The velcro is nice because you know the blindfold will fit properly, but be careful, as long hair can get stuck in the strap. The blindfold has a soft piece that goes over the bridge of your nose. I liked that it kept light out and made it harder to peek, but it made the blindfold ride up into my eyes. I really wish that they had made a small indentation in the center to help it stay in place.

I had an amazing time with this kit. My wife and I are now finally able to be a little kinky when we use our wedge (which is often). Unfortunately, this kit isn't good for people who like more serious bondage because the snaps can be undone somewhat easily by the one being restrained.

The packaging for my conversion kit was nice and simple. All of the pieces were packed nicely in a thick, plastic zip-top bag. I actually keep everything except the cover in the bag so that everything stays together.

I washed my cover in the washing machine with cold water on the regular cycle, and dried it using the low-heat setting. The material is still very soft and in excellent condition, as expected of a Liberator product.

I have not washed the cuffs or blindfold. I think that you would also be able to wash them in cold water, but I do not know for sure because my kit did not come with any cleaning instructions.
