Delicious encounter - lubricant discontinued by B. Cumming Company - review by Kate

I used Delicious Encounter just as a lube for masturbation, it could be used obviously for oral because it's flavored and it's even thick enough to be used for anal but because of the sticky mess it leaves, I probably wouldn't recommend that! It's water based so it is safe to use with all of your toys.

I expected this lube to be watery and was surprised when I pumped some of it out of the bottle. It's rather thick for a water based lube but after applying it, it does thin out. It started out slick and stayed that way for about 15 minutes before I needed to reapply. I wanted a good idea of how long it would stay slick on its own without being mixed with natural lubrication so I applied 3 pumps of it to the back of my hand and rubbed it in for 15 minutes. After 10 minutes it was noticeably thinner but still a little slick to the touch.

Delicious Encounter comes in 5 flavors: Cherry, Vanilla, Watermelon, Peach and Strawberry. I'm reviewing the Cherry flavor. The lube has no noticeable scent to it, the flavor is very light as well. It does slightly taste like cherry but in all honesty it is not a pleasant flavor. It tastes watered down and leaves a weird after taste that I can't quite put my finger on but it kind of tastes like Pepto Bismol, not exactly a flavor that gets me in the mood!

A little seems to go a long way with this lube though so keep in mind that although it comes out thick, it will thin out nicely. When it does thin out it gets that tacky, sticky feeling to it. I had to wash up right after using it because it felt gummy. Everyone's natural lubrication is different but I felt that this lube stayed slick for a decent amount of time, I just am not a fan of lubes that get sticky!

Delicious Encounter is packaged in a sleek and cute little bottle. It's a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser with a removable plastic cap. The bottle is wrapped in plastic and the description and directions for use are printed on the plastic. Because of the size and the design of the bottle it would be perfect to throw in your travel bag!

This water based lube is sugar free and a clear non-staining formula. It is also vegan certified by the Vegan Awareness Foundation USA as stated on the bottle. The application directions on the bottle state this: Apply as needed to areas you wish to lubricate. Reapply as needed. If irritation occurs discontinue use. Easily removes with water. Latex friendly, for topical use only. Here are the list of ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Flavor, Glycereth 26, Hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-45M, Sodium Saccharin, Tetrasodium EDTA, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Sodium Benzoate.

If you're looking for a thicker vegan lube with a light taste maybe give this one a try. I know everyone's different and what tastes weird to me may be different for you. I will say the taste wasn't strong, it just wasn't pleasant. The stickiness was a major turn off for me though!

As a lube it performed just okay, after it thinned out and was reapplied the stickiness went away. As far as using it for oral, although it doesn't taste good and tastes more like a cherry flavored medicine, the flavor is light and the aftertaste doesn't last all that long! I'm not vegan but if you're vegan and looking for a lube for oral maybe you'd like one of the other flavors, I was only assigned this one and didn't care for it too much between tasting watered down and strange.
