Aloe Ca-huh?
Aloe Cadabra Tahitian Vanilla lube is a really nice, natural, food grade lube made primarily from Aloe Vera. It's fairly tasteless, lasts a decent amount of time, can be reapplied without becoming gummy and is totally body, condom and toy safe. Excellent for those looking to avoid parabens, glycerins and sugars.

Pros
Natural, food grade, lasts decently, can be reapplied, condom and toy safe.
Cons
Not reactivated with water, very small bottle, no vanilla taste or scent.
Aloe Cadabra Tahitian Vanilla lube is confusing.
It comes in a tiny, one ounce bottle tucked into a purple, satiny drawstring bag. The bag is a nice touch but the size of the bottle really threw me off. I hadn't checked the properties before it was assigned to me to review so I was expecting the normal four or eight ounce bottle of lube and admit I blinked in confusion a few times when confronted with this pocket sized bottle.
Aloe Cadabra is made by Seven Oaks Farms in California for Live Well Brands. It's ingredients boast a 95% organic aloe vera content as well as vanilla essential oil, xanthum gum, citric acid and food grade potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate. Totally different ingredients than most lubes. It's safe for condom use and use with all toy materials as well as safe to ingest.
And considering it's called tahitian vanilla, you'd expect to want to do just that.
Meh. Not so much.
Upon opening the twist off cap and sniffing I was again kind of thrown off. It smells more like Jergens lotion than vanilla. Sort of soapy, not sweet, not warm, not vanilla-y at all. Not bad, just not like vanilla.
It's a thickish lube, a true gel that spreads out to a thinner liquid upon application. It lasts a fairly decent amount of time and is quite slick. As it begins to dry it does become a bit sticky but the stickiness fades and the lube sinks completely and totally into your skin. Aloe is a great moisturizer, so that makes sense. Also unlike other lubes, reapplication doesn't make it flakey or gummy or weird and you will need to reapply if you play for an extended period of time as water does not reactivate this lube.
Taste is... eh... also not vanilla-like at all. It tastes better than it smells, kind of salty but no real flavor. But. Weirdness. Not a hint of vanilla.
Overall, Aloe Cadabra is a great, natural, food grade lube that works as well or better than a lot of water based lubes and is a super choice for those who wish to remain paraben, glycerin, sugar and aspartame free.
So long as you don't mind the lack of flavor or vanilla scent or the tiny bottle.
Makes an excellent packing lube as it doesn't leak and is small enough to tuck in any bag, purse or even pocket.

Follow-up commentary

I keep this in my toy bag, cuz it's small and compact, just in case of an emergency where I need lube but can't... um... walk the ten feet to where my normal lube is kept. I never pull it out. I walk the ten feet. It just dries up way too fast for effective use in clitoral or anal play. It's okay for internal vaginal use but I have so many that are so much better.
And it still doesn't taste at all like vanilla.

My head can't decide if it's happy with it or not.
My snootch likes it, though. Heh.
