Aloe...not just for burns!
If I found that the aloe did help soften the skin and that it would be good for pregnant women, I would probably buy the lube for that sole purpose. Other than that, there are better lubes out there that are also multi-purposeful. A lube that dries fast on everything besides vaginal seems to be missing a good bit of the point.

Pros
Condom safe, aloe makes skin soft, some might like the scent.
Cons
Dries quickly, some may not like the scent.
I'm always happy to try out a new lube, especially when it's free. So, when this came in the mail we decided to try it out the first chance we could get. The first thing you'll noticed, besides the average bottle (can't say the bottle's pretty, can't say it's ugly) is the smell. You can smell hints of aloe, lavender, and some other things that all combine to create a unique scent. This is why I'm glad I have my wife. I personally did not like the smell, it wasn't overly distracting or anything so I wouldn't call it a mood killer, but I didn't find it to be something I constantly wanted to smell. My wife on the other hand thought it smelled good and listed that as one of it's positive. So, if your a fan of lavender it might be pleasant for you if not, I'd take a shot with the regular scent (which I have not tried).
If you've ever cut open an aloe leaf and scraped the inside 'jelly', you'll have a good idea of the texture of the lube. It's thick and it doesn't run, but it smooths right down when you apply any kind of pressure. It spreads well and provides a decent amount of coverage, but not the kind of lube that is going to feel like a bottle lasts forever. Probably my biggest disappointment with the lube though is how fast it drys. This is definitely not a masturbation lube. It dries way to fast for that. As for anal, the thickness would suggest that it's good for it, but I think it really depends on how fast lubes normally dry on you. My opinion is that there are better lubes for anal and I'd only recommend this one if your just doing a brief session of it or just some teasing. Otherwise you'll probably have to keep applying some. As for vaginal sex, it works well. Natural juices seem to keep it from drying out once you get going so there's no problem there.
I did notice that our skin seemed a little softer, possibly from the aloe. If that is the case, this could be a great lube for a perineum massage for any pregnant women out there or a lube you might want to use during sex as an additional way to help soften and prepare the area. I can't say that as a guarantee, but I do notice a lot of lotions with aloe so it could possibly work.
All in all a decent lube that should be mainly used for vaginal sex. If your looking for a food grade condom safe water based lube then this might hit that spot for you. It might also be worth trying for the skin softening effect, though long term testing would be required to determine any kind of lasting results.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
I'm still not a fan, but my wife still thinks it smells nice. We keep it as our backup lube so we really haven't used it since the initial review. Like i said before, nothing horrible about this lube, there's just a lot better out there in my opinion.
