Anal lubricant is always thicker then vaginal lubricant because the tissue in your rectum is more fragile than vaginal tissue. A thicker lubricant reduces friction and makes it harder for thinner tissue to tear. The Fifty Shades anal lubricant is clear and thick. It must be squeezed out of the bottle and is not sticky or greasy, which is a plus.

The information on the bottle does not say that it is or isn't edible so I would not test this out orally. The smell is a bit "chemical" smelling to me, which maybe a problem to some. It could be the bottle itself that's giving off the smell as well. Overall the smell didn't bother me at all.

Since I am very fond of Fifty Shades I really do like this lubricant, but to anyone who is not a fan of Fifty Shades should not over look this. It does work well and it is very thick. It does not dissipate quickly and holds it's thickness for quite some time. More lube can ALWAYS be added.

I do like the size of the bottle. It is 3.4 fl oz so you can travel on a plane with it and its small packaging is easy to travel with as well. Just because it says "Fifty Shades" do not over look it.
