Pleasure me purse kit - sensual kit discontinued by Pleasure Works - review by indiechick

I think that this is a perfect gag-like gift from a bridal shower or for your bridesmaids who are hoping to land a groomsman at your wedding. It comes in a small plastic purse roughly 1 inch by 2 inches by 2.5 inches long. It contains the "Edible" message oil, a bullet vibe, Lubricant and a massage bar.
Breaking it down.

The Edible body oil
While it may be safe to eat...I wouldn't. The body oil is basically almond oil in a bottle it tastes disgusting. In addition to that it left my skin feeling like there was a film on it..EWW. It's never sexy to feel greasy. Also the smell is off, it doesn't smell like the nice almond oils I have in my personal collection, it smells as greasy as it feels.

Bullet Vibe
Actually a nice vibe. It comes with the watch batteries included which is a plus. There is a small plastic cover over the batteries when they arrive so it does not go off as you open the packaging. Mine was aqua blue, but I have been told they come in a variety of colors. It felt like a PU coated plastic, no drag it was nice. The bullet has 3 settings, low, strong and stronger. They are all a bit buzzy, but that's to be expected from something that came as a part of a $18 kit. It is also a bit load, I could still hear it under the covers, but certainly not loud enough to hear in the next room. (Hotel Safe)

Lubricant
Standard run of the mill water based lubricant. No flavor and no real smell to speak of just water based lube. Which I am sure would come in handy with a one night stand wedding fling sort of thing. My partner and I used a little bit for foreplay with toys, because it is toy safe, being water based and then used the rest for sex. It is a 1 night use amount, but I can see getting more than 1 round out of the amount of lubricant included.

Now this I wish was edible body oil compressed into bar form. Mine smelled like Andes Mint Chocolate Candies. I held the bard in my hands for 30 seconds to warm it up (I have small palms and it fit just fine in my hands to warm up). Then I massaged the bar into my partners back. After about 5 minutes I felt I had enough massage oil to continue massaging on my own and I wrapped the heart shaped bar back up and put it in a air tight container in the fridge so that it stays solid (nearly summer here things melt at 80 degrees). I did have to wash off my hands afterwards as it did not all absorb into my skin and my partner felt the same. I will try using less of the bar next time to see if that makes a difference.

Over all nothing here was HIGH QUALITY, but it was fun to try different things out and as I said would be a fun gift for your girlfriends who are looking to get some on your wedding night.

For as bad as each piece was the first time around when I tried to use anything after initial use it was either solid as a rock or completely melted and was a sticky mess. Nothing was every outside of a normal room temp setting so I was extremely disappointed.
