The Wet Original Safe Sex Kit is a simple kit that let's you explore their brand. Before using this kit, I never used anything by Wet Lubricants. I've been more of a KY, Intimate Organics, and JO kind of person. After using this kit, I discovered that I like the lubricant more than I like my KY lubricant. By making this safe sex kit more affordable, Wet Lubricants has not only promoted their product, but they got a loyal customer all in the same process. I'd consider them a genius- setting a sample size lubricant with a condom at a low price point to tempt others to add a simple $1.00 product in their cart, try it out, love it, and buy the larger sizes. Genius and effective!

The kit comes with a wet latex condom and original water based lubricant. Beware of the latex condom if you have an allergy to latex. The ingredients of the lubricant are: Deionized water, glycerin, carbomer, PEG, propylene glycol, aloe vera extract, tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), cellulose gum, sodium benzoate, methylparaben, carbomer 941, hydroxyethylcellulose, polysorbate 60, diazolidinyl urea. If you have an allergy or sensitivity to parabens or glycerin, you should steer clear from this lubricant. Although unflavored, it still has some chemicals in it that may cause a negative reaction.

The items are both encased in a wrapper that says, "Wet Safe Sex Kit. For cool contests and hot tips, visit us at www.wetsurvey.com." That in itself is a great advertising factor on their part, and I've found myself taking a look at this link, too. Inside this wrapper, you will find interesting little facts about HIV/AIDS and funny comments like wash up after every partner. It reminds me of all of the funny stuff on Dr.Bronners soap. There is also a individually wrapped condom that says P Premium and a rectangular sample size .10 oz lubricant that reads "Clean and Silky Gel Lubricant. Wet Original water based." It also includes the ingredients and warnings on it. Because it outright says what's inside, I would not say that this is a discreet packaging. Of course, this is able to be hidden, but once found, others will definitely know what it is.

The lubricant is pretty thin but not excessively runny. This seems kind of contradictory because the manufacturers describes this as a gel. It is not scented, warming, or cooling, like some other lubes; however, if you are looking for any of those features, EF carries Wet lubricant variations on the site. Check them out. This kit provides just enough lubrication for your sexual conquests and my experience with it leaves me wishing that I had another.

The lubricant washes off pretty easily, thank goodness. I did not bother to taste the lubricant or the condom, since I didn't know if the ingredients were safe or food grade, but I really don't recommend that you taste it either. The item doesn't say if it is intended for oral use. The expiration date of the condom and lubricant are not until a couple of years from now so I know that I'll have something that lasts for a while as a backup. It's not often that I vacation but when I do, this is definitely coming along for the ride.

Because of it's size, it is perfect for travel. The slick feel of the lubricant helps to get you in the mood and keep you there! Little reapplication is needed and I value this fact because not only does water lubes tend to dry up, they tend to take your mood with it when you keep having to reapply.

The size and price makes this perfect for just trying the lubricant out. If you don't like it, you've only spent a dollar on it, as opposed to buying a whole bottle and realizing that it's not for you. I wish other companies were considerate enough to make sample sizes like Wet Lubricants does. The ease of this kit makes having safe sex a breeze. You can put this in your purse, the lube in you wallet or pocket (condoms are not recommended to be in warm places,) you can keep this in your gym bag or briefcase. The possibilities are endless!

I recently purchased a box of sex on the go's and then I find myself with this kit. I definitely prefer this kit more than I do sex on the go's wipe. This kit includes a condom and there is no messy cleanup like there is with the wipe. Because this is water based, it is compatible with all materials.
