System JO premium cool anal lubricant is a silicone lube. It shouldn't be used with any silicone toy, because it could deteriorate your toy, and no one wants that. I have used this with my glass toys; it worked fairly well? and there is a slight cooling sensation. This cooling feeling is only going to be experienced by the person receiving. I used this with my partner, and I felt no cooling sensation on my end. I have used this lube during masturbation as well, and never felt any cooling or tingling. However, a plus with silicone lube is that it doesn't get sticky.

I would describe the feeling as greasy. It's close to watered down Vaseline, but not quite. It is thicker than water-based lubes, and it doesn't run very much unless you squirt out a lot. It's fairly smooth and slippery. When you're done, it isn't sticky. In fact, it leaves your skin feeling smooth, like you just used lotion.

I didn't taste it. With it being silicone based, I'm not sure it would be safe. The aroma, however, is very pleasant. It smells like peppermint.

This stuff lasts pretty longhorn. Even after you rub it off (or if you use it long enough that it dries up), it leaves your skin feeling smooth. It doesn't run, so I haven't gotten it anywhere that could stain, but I don't think it would stain. The best part of this lube is the cooling feature. If you like the slight peppermint smell, that's a bonus. There's really only one problem with this lube, and it's just the nature of the product. It can't be used with silicone toys, so there's no feeling that cooling sensation with my Lelo Billy. That's just how it is, and it's no fault of the product. I'm pretty happy with it.

It performs decently. This is my first silicone based lube. Until now, I have only used water-based. I think each lube has its place, but where this lube is concerned, I might lean towards water-based. I finally talked my partner into trying anal, and the first time we used the System JO premium cool anal lubricant. I thought it worked well... almost too well. I didn't finish. I felt very little friction, and eventually became too tired to keep trying. She didn't want to be on top. The next time we tried was a week later, and we use ID Pleasure water-based lube. I finished rather soon, and she said she loved the ID. So, the past few times, that's what we used.

For myself, on my glass toys, I also feel that the ID was more slippery. The ID was also easier for anal. The water-does get sticky, and that can be annoying. However, it comes down to preference. The JO lube does have a cooling feature, which definitely adds to the overall experience.
