Use

This lube works well for vaginal and anal sex and masturbation. It will work well for just about anybody. The best occasion to use Get maxxx is sex (obviously). This lube is supposed to be hypoallergenic, however my girlfriend had a slight vaginal irritation when we used it. This probably doesn't happen for everyone though. Anal sex was just fine though, no irritation. It's also latex condom compatible.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture is non-sticky and slightly oily but not bad. The consistency is not too thick and not too thin. It's just right. Get maxxx stays in place pretty well and doesn't drip much.

Get maxxx doesn't have a scent or a taste, which is good because there's not bitter flavor like some other "flavored" lubes.

Performance

This lube lasts quite long. It does clean off well, but you might need to use both soap and water. My favorite things about this lube are that it's consistent and easy to use. The bottle has a pump cap too, so you don't have to pour the lube out.

    What kind of lubricant is it? Is it water based or not? Is it compatible with most toys and if not, which ones won't it work with i.e. is it safe for using with silicone, rubber, jelly, etc.? Does it leave a residue on fabric such as bed sheets or does it simply just dry away?

    Just a few questions that come to mind with lubricant. Thanks for the review.

    What ingredients does it have that might lead to irritation? Was the irritation a few days later, as in the case of a yeast infection/overgrowth or a possible BV overgrowth? Was the irritation due to the product not lasting long enough and causing some stretching to the sensitive tissues?

    (VieuxCarre) It is a silicon based lubricant, and not water based. It is compatible with all toys that I know of and have tried. I haven't had any on the sheets that I know of. It seems like it would be the kind that would dry away tho.

    (Airen) She said it was irritating form the beginning of use. I cant tell what ingredients would cause the irritation though. The bottle says that its hypoallergenic, allergy free, and suitable for sensitive skin. But like I said in the review it is long lasting.

    Hrmmmm might be she has a slight allergy to silicone, not beyond reason! Silicone lubes can damage the finish and melt some silicone toys. It's not recommended to use silicone lube with silicone toys minaly because they tend to be expensive to replace should they melt. A small patch test can determine if the lube you prefer will interact with your new toy. Silicone is so unfriendly that sometimes if you store silicone toys together they will melt all over each other.
