Go For It

I love this lube. It is more expensive, but for my increased eagerness to engage in anal, it is definitely worth it. I recommend this for those who have a special guy or gal that they really want to have the easiest anal experience possible.

Use

Use it in your bum!

Silicone lube is for non-silicone and non-latex toys. It coats plastic well (aneros & nexus type toys).

It is very interesting on glass toys. The lube itself drips off glass, but it sticks to the skin. So once you get it inside, it protects the walls of the rectum and the glass slides on through. But the best part about using it with glass is that cleanup is super easy! Silicone is a real jerk to wash off skin, but running a glass toy under the tap rinses it all off, it does not stick to glass. You will still need to use soap to sterilize it, as it has been up your keester.

I have used it on a silicone toy that I don't care about anymore, and the only change was that the silicone surface became cloudier. Only try it on something you don't care about ruining, and put a glob on a test spot to see how it affects it first.

I try to coat the toy in silicone first, and then try to get a nickel-sized dollop inserted before using the toy. After some long activity, I take it out, re-coat the toy and that's all I would use.

I've also used it to make a screen door glide!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Pjur Back Door is quite greasy. If you've never used silicone before, it's a strange feeling. Not thick like cooking oil, but it drips & stretches very similar to precum. A very thin layer on the fingers feels like your skin is non-wet but extremely smooth and slippery.

A generous application feels great on the anus and inside.

I should also mention that it doesn't mix well with creams. I have used a numbing cream before anal play, and later added this, and I found the cream had been separated inside the lube like oil & water. There were no ill effects, it just was visually noticeable.

Taste / Aroma

There is absolutely no taste at all (after I just licked it for you). It makes the mouth greasy, though. The ingredient that relaxes the anal muscles can be felt orally if you're really paying attention (I doubt anyone would notice while participating in an activity where anal lube was in their mouth ;) ).

I used to think this was odorless, but after huffing the bottle (again for YOU) under my nostril, I can smell something like what you'd smell inside a new computer or machinery. Look what you shoppers are making me do for you!

Performance

I didn't realize before how painless anal could be before using this. Toys slide in and out much easier, and it's much more enjoyable.

It lasts kind of forever, which is good and bad. It never dries out ever at all, ever, ever. I do sometimes need to put more on the toy because it gets spread out too much inside.

The bad part about it (all silicone lubes) is that it is so difficult to clean. So difficult in fact that it affects your likeliness to choose it over water-based lube per session. The best way is to use a paper towel or something to wipe as much off your hands and toys as possible, and then wash with a good strong soap multiple times. It will be in the bumcheeks too, and it's not as practical to plop them in the sink and wash several times. I can just recommend doing your best wiping it off externally until your next shower. It will keep inside for HOURS. Very active people will get more than one use out of it.

Packaging

I like the bottle. While it does say BACK DOOR and has a picture of a man's butt on it, I do like that it looks more handsome and masculine than say... a pink bottle of Sassy Booty lube on my nightstand. If someone saw it from a distance, they might think it's a fancy brand of deodorant or something.

After unscrewing the cap, the top has a flat surface with a toothpick-width hole in the middle. The lube drips out with gravity and the bottle squeezes slightly to squirt more out.

The cap is completely air/lube tight. It doesn't get messy, but the tip will always be slick.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Does not leak

Special Features

It has anal relaxants in it, which aren't the same as numbing or warming or tingling agents. This effect is barely noticeable, but I do really like it. It makes my bum feel squishy and sexy and I love that.

Personal comments

I suggest making a rule to never touch the bottle with a hand that has touched the lube. You don't want that smooth round bottle to become slippery, or it'll be hard to unscrew the cap. I always take a couple of Kleenexes in case I need to grab the bottle or something else without touching them with my slippery skin.

Also, remember to open it before you start playing.

Experience

I've tried Maximus, and it caused a lot of burning inside, and wasn't greasy enough for me. I could still feel some toys rubbing an inside wall through the lube. Silicone makes me feel like there's always a barrier between the toy and the rectal walls so there's less friction.

In any lube, I recommend staying away from anything containing "-paraben" and "DMDM Hydantoin" to prevent irritation. Those are mostly in water based lubes and are not present in Pjur Back Door, so it's a safe bet to recommend to the most nervous bottom.

    Thanks!

The ingredients are on the product page, but I'll paste them here too:
Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Jojoba seed oil, Amyris balsamifera bark oil.

They must have had heaps of jojoba left over from October.
