He should try something else
My overall impression was poor. I haven't tried any other masturbating creams, but I would not try this one again. If you are looking for a cream, try this out if you can find it in a kit. It's cheap, and you may find it more useful than I did. If you are looking to try oil based lubrication I would continue recommending 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.

I've recently been getting into water based and silicone based lubes for masturbating, and I grabbed this as a cheap third in my kit just to try out a cream lubricant. As I've been a longtime fan of extra virgin coconut oil during masturbation I thought I'd try out something "official" and designed specifically for masturbation. I chose the unscented cream because I thought the smell of leather might just make me sick while I try to get off, but holy crap, this stuff stinks. I think the smell alone ruins the experience, it smells like shoe polish. Aside from the smell it functions the way it's supposed to, although absorbs quickly. I found that I needed a rather generous glob of cream in order to keep the glide going, and with only a 1 oz container it was all used up after only a few sessions. If you're quick you can get away with only using a little bit, but for a long play session or during a hand job this will not hold up. If I hadn't had enough negative comments, this stuff also contains parabens. You will want to stay away from this if you have a paraben allergy, or are worried about the unknown risks of parabens. I only tried using this during masturbation, in my opinion there isn't enough glide in this to experiment anally. To end on something positive, being a cream, I find this is easier during clean up. With other water, silicone, and oil lubricants you may have to wash off excess lubricant along with your own goo, but cream may much easier to rub into the skin, unfortunately it can also be the downfall of a cream.
I gave it 1 bee because it will be audible while you're slopping around, could be 2 bees if you're really going to town at it.

Follow-up commentary
16 days after original review
For a follow-up I've given this another try and in different application. I tried using this in the shower and I've found that the cream works pretty well with a little bit of water. I still really don't like the smell, but I'm not finding it as useless as I originally had. I've continued using this to masturbate in the shower, but when it comes to restocking, I think I'll still try something different.
