Liquid Forplay Water-based lube is just a wet mess

I opened the tube and squeezed it like I have many times before with other types of lube and before I realized what was happening, a third of the container was empty and I had a large mess in my lap. It is a good thing it is a water-based lube that doesn't stain. The tube also claims it is now "Palate Pleasing." Yuck.

somewhat useful review
The first time I used this, I gave the tube a heavy squeeze which was a big mistake. I had lube everywhere. The lube is very very runny. The way the tube was designed, using even a little bit will result in the lube running off with just that greasy feeling left over. Very little lube can go a long way if you can get it to come out of the tube slowly. I got the 5.2 oz size and it is almost gone after a few uses because I was not able to get the lube to pour slowly. The good news is that it has a pleasant feel on the skin and it does moisturize the skin as advertised.

I'm not sure why they make the claim that it is NOW “Palate Pleasing.” Did they sell a previous version that was not “Palate Pleasing?” Nothing on the lube says it is edible or flavored. It does say “Harmless if Ingested.” I tasted just a dab on my lips. I don't think it is very “Palate Pleasing.” I guess, if I used the lube and then ate someone out, I would not be disgusted by the taste. It kind of has the smell of petroleum.

I planned to use it during oral. I was very disappointed in the taste, so it did not work for me when giving oral. If you are looking for something to use for oral, I would look for something else. I would have probably known this if I had read other reviews more thoroughly before buying.

In my option, they could have put this kind of lube in a pump container or in a tube with a smaller hole. I was unable to really get a good value out the 5.2 oz (148 grams) because of the container. I ended up pouring the remainder of mine into a different pump based container.

Like most water-based lubes, it works great when using condoms. Also, being water-based ensures that it will not stain clothing or cause damage to toys. Liquid Forplay contains: Glycerin, Purified Water Propylene Glycol, Cellulose Gum, Polyquaternium, Carrageenan, & Methylparaben
Follow-up commentary
Since the lube was so runny, I mixed it with some other lubes. By doing that it makes the viscosity a bit thicker. That way I was able to use up the remainder of the bottle. It also let me use it out of a pump bottle. These were the two major complaints from above.
