As a lubricant, this product is best used to make loving slicker than “usual”. The convenient pump action of the bottle makes it an easy to use bottle. The pump only allows a small amount of product at a time, perfect for use with everything we tried, save the male masturbator that took many pumps, as well as frequent reapplication, making this lube better suited for the “insertable” toys and/or use with a partner.

This particular lubricant is full of the typical “allergens” though: glycerin, parabens, and one I wasn’t aware of until I did some digging, Imidazolidinyl Urea. This last ingredient is an antimicrobial preservative, but comes with a warning that it is known that some people have had allergic reactions to it. If you have had a reaction to anything with parabens or glycerins though, avoid this one, even if it is a pretty bottle.

When I first pumped out a bit to “test” this one, it appears slightly thick, but runs easily as well. At least on warm hands, it runs after a second or two. If applying this lube to a “cold” toy, it doesn’t run quite as fast. It feels silky to me, but if you’re just playing with the lubricant to “test” it as I was, it sort of resembles half-dried glue (when I pulled my fingers apart, the droplet of lube was attached by a “string” of the product between my fingers when they were about an inch apart).

The pump feature on the bottle is great! No worrying about pouring this lube, a quick press on the top and out it comes! Each pump dispenses a small pea sized dollop, perfect when you only require a small amount of “help” and easy to get as much as you need as well.

During my “between the fingers test”, it did become a bit tacky, but I never noticed a tacky or sticky feeling while actually using the product. It does leave a slightly greasy feel when simply wiped away with a tissue, but I have lotions that feel greasier!

This lubricant has virtually no taste or smell to it. To get any sort of “smell” from it, I had to take the pump out of the bottle and inhale very deeply. At that point, it very faintly smelled like a mild detergent or a bottle of bubbles. However, I really had to work at getting any scent from this one.

For me, a single application was all I needed for solo use. However, when my partner tried it using his masturbator, many applications were needed and he found it to be a disappointing product for his needs. Using it together matched more closely to my solo experience than to his.

During clean up, the lube quickly rinsed away from all toys we tried it with/on. Since it is a water-based lubricant, it made clean up a snap. For cleaning off the body, it was equally simple. For quickly cleaning off just product from the skin (like when I was testing it between my fingers), a tissue worked well, but did leave a slightly greasy feeling for a few minutes until it absorbed into my skin. Soap and water, tissue, wipes, they all worked well for cleaning this product up. Soap and water is still my favorite way of cleaning up though.

The box this lube comes in is good enough to gift! Even in a public place, without looking too closely at it, most people would think it was a box of perfume. A little work with a black marker could even conceal the white lettering that says it a “lubricant” for an even more discreet look.

While I had no need to re-apply during use, my partner required reapplication multiple times while using this. We bought the larger, 5-ounce, bottle and even after multiple uses, it hardly looks touched. I think it was a great purchase because the design is simple and elegant enough to blend in and not stand out as a bottle of lube that it sits out in plain sight with no worries of embarrassing us, no more digging through the drawer/box looking for lube when we need it most! Also, because of the pump (and sealing cap over it) applicator, we have had no issues with clogging, a main concern with other lubes we have had.
