The Hot Lotion Motion is great for couples who have a major sweet tooth and are planning on taking a hot steamy shower after use. For us, we were left sticky and grossed out, as it was almost unpalatable due to its sweetness. We also had hoped for better warming sensations but were let down. It's worth a try, but we will not be buying or using more.

Pros
Delicious scent, cleans easily
Cons
Sickly sweet, doesn't warm up much, sticky residue
The Hot Motion Lotion is for couples looking to enjoy a sensual massage with an edible lotion that heats up when blown on. The hot motion lotion comes in a 4 oz bottle. I purchased the strawberry flavor. The plastic bottle is well made, and the product did not leak even when the bottle was laying on its side. For a massage, this lotion is a bit sticky but does rub on smoothly at first. The aroma is quite nice and it does permeate the room. After a little while, the lotion is absorbed into the skin and leaves a.sticky residue. This lotion would be good for couples, beginners or advanced, who have a sweet tooth and are looking for a yummy option during sensual play. However, I would only use this lotion when you are near a shower, unless you don't mind smelling like sweet, sticky strawberries all day.
When trying to pour it out of the bottle it is a bit slow due to its thickness. It's pourable, just slow. It is a bit sticky right out of the bottle, but it rubs onto the skin smoothly. The lotion claims to heat up when blown on and create a sensual massage. I applied a small amount to my wrist and it did warm up slightly when blown on, very slightly. I was hoping for a lotion that would heat up considerably and this lotion did not. After rubbing the lotion in, the skin was left sticky. The spot wiped clean with some water though. Once washed, the skin was rather soft where the lotion had been applied. The lotion itself is red and gives a slight pink tint to the skin that disappears as it is absorbed. We did not notice any stains on clothes or fabrics.
When we first opened the bottle, the smell of strawberries hit my nose and my mouth began to water. The smell permeated throughout the room and did linger for several hours, but was gone by the next day. The lotion also left our skin smelling like strawberry unless we washed it off. We each tasted a small amount and it was sweet...too sweet. To me, it tasted a bit sweeter than the strawberry hard candies an elementary teacher used to give out. My husband said it tasted like super sweet cough syrup. If you love super sweet things, you will love this taste. If you do not, this lotion may not be for you.
This lotion is supposed to heat up when blown on, which can make for some very nice application areas. The lotion, when applied, barely warms up and it lasts only about a minute. After that, it rubs into the skin, and leaves a rather sticky feeling to the area after it dries. Even when licked off, there is still a sticky residue until you wash it off. When you rinse it off, it cleans easily and leaves the skin soft. The ingredients are on the bottle. They do include some fruit extracts and red 40, so if allergies are a concern please read the ingredient list carefully. The lotion is edible, technically. For us, it was way too sweet to enjoy but others may like that super sugary, syrup like taste.
The lotion is a plastic bottle, and it was tied into a plastic bag for shipping. The bottle is well-made and did not leak after being opened. Once you remove the clear outer plastic, the bottle is easy to be opened with one hand; this is a simple flip top section. While the bottle's label does not have nudity on it, is not discreet. In bright bold lettering the product name us displayed along with its flavor. If this was left out, others would have no problem knowing what it was with just a glance.
This Hot Motion Lotion is edible and said to warm up when blown on. In our experience, if it did warm up it was very little. We could feel it warm on our wrists but not our shoulders. When we did feel it warm, it was barely above body temperature and only lasted about a minute, despite numerous attempts to blown on the area and heat it back up.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it1 day after original review
We have thrown this out as we did try it a couple times, but could not get past the taste or the sticky feeling. It just wasn't for us, unfortunately.
