My husband and I were given this product as a gift from a friend. I had been trying other lubes on the market and found that I was having an allergic reaction to a number of them. We were both a little skeptical and cautious about using this product when we were first given it, but to the pleasure of us both, no allergic reaction!

Since being introduced to the Pjur line of products, their silicone based lubes have become our top choice for times when something a little extra slippery is needed! It works great for all kinds of situations including clitoral lubrication (for toys) and providing the extra lubrication when we need it for sex.

The only real cautions or detraction from this product is trying to close the lid once you open it. It's a screw top, and with anything slippery, that can become a rather comical experience (at least for me, my husband isn't quite as amused). So plan ahead for that part and have something to clean off the lid if it happens to get slippery.

As with all silicone based lubes, be mindful of its interaction with toys, as some don't play nice!

Let's start with unscrewing the top. Think of this product in the mindset of a "drop will do you." A simple tip of the bottle will allow it to come out rather quickly. If you get a little carried away with yourself (or if you make the mistake of squeezing the bottle), you will be met with a handful of wonderfully silky-smooth, slipperiness that will stay with you for quite some time. With that being said, a couple of drops of this product will produce the above mentioned silky-smooth, slipperiness that won't get tacky with time. My husband and I have taken to having a clean, dry washcloth at bedside (or wherever fun ensues) to help with any stray product (or to put the lid back on!) And as for our experience with the product, it has a rather pleasing texture which feels natural, stays slippery, and stays where I want the slipperiness (unless we've accidentally transferred it elsewhere).

Overall take: Silky-smooth, velvety, and slightly thin, but it lasts!

In my opinion, this product is basically tasteless and has a very light silicone scent (which I only noticed while really "smelling" the bottle to provide an accurate review). When asked, my husband agrees with my take on the scent and taste, but he does also note that it can produce an interestingly odd, slippery tongue feeling.

The Pjur Woman product succeeds in lasting throughout the times when we need the extra slipperiness. The interesting side-effect of this product is that it basically ends up acting in the same manner that a body lotion would as it ages, leaving the areas used on feeling soft and smooth. However, if this isn't quite the feeling that you are looking for, the product can be cleaned up easily using a very mild soap and water combination.

As noted earlier, it's not compatible with all materials, so you'll want to check what your toys play nicely with first. My personal favorite part of the product is that it works, it doesn't leave me sticky, and I'm not allergic to it. My least favorite part about this product? Its screw top. It should really be swapped out for a flip or snap top for ease of use.

This is where this product falls short. As far as overall packaging look, it's quite nice. Clean and simple design with soft colors make the packaging appealing. The pitfall is in the usability. With it being a screw top, the concept of using it one-handed is out of the picture, and if you are not particularly careful with the application, a two handed approach doesn't work either. Nothing is quite as comical as a sleek, smooth bottle that has been lubricated (accidentally) and wants nothing more than to be on the floor!

My husband and I got given this product from a mutual friend as something new to try in our hunt to find something that I am not allergic to. It came highly recommended (even to the extent of having our friend follow-up on our experience with the product). We were skeptical of the product at first, but we are definitely happy that we had this one recommended to us!
